Yup, you're a child.

It's time to start acting like an adult and accept that not everyone has had the same life experiences as you. These people with different experiences may have even come to different conclusions than you have about the way life works and will voice their opinions on the matters of the day.

Boo hoo. Suck it up, Buttercup.
No more a child than Mitch McConnell. Or Trump for that matter. Children are running the asylum. Enjoy the ride.

If there's any phrase I want to die a quick death in 2017 it's "suck it up".

When a person advocates to destroy the only path to a decent living I have, that wants to enforce their religious views on everyone, force people to hide who they are in public etc. I'm not going to "suck it up". * that.

No argument from me. McConnell is as much the problem as anyone. He's taken on the win-at-cost mantra rather than stopping to consider (at least publicly) if what he's advocating is actually good for the country.

Voice your opinions, by all means. Just don't whine about others having the ability to voice their opinions too. I disagree with a lot of what's said by others, but you don't see me whining about it. Be the counterpoint in a civil debate, one that hopefully won't end with a "F--- you!".

Fighting back against fake news.
That's actually an excellent strategy. I think they'll find two problems that prevent it from being completely effective, however. First, it's the internet, so it's a bit of a "whack-a-mole" world out there where they are always going to be behind.

Second, companies abhor getting into the middle of a heated dispute with large numbers on both sides. For every "attaboy" they get when they ban Breitbart for their ads, they get an angry response from someone else.

I don't care about others voicing their opinions, they can go ahead and do so, just don't expect me to a) listen and b) not yell "that's *ing stupid!"

And as son as you yell out "that's *ing stupid," you've just put the other person on the defensive and shut them off from listening to anything else you have to say. Congratulations, master debater.

This is exactly the problem. It is, I personally believe, a product of our "twitter" world. It's only going to get worse since the guy about to take the job as President apparently hasn't figured this out yet.

There are two primary problems with the way a large percentage of people "discuss" political and other important issues of the day, in our present world. The first is the excessive use of insults. A true professional knows how to insult someone or cut them to ribbons without the subject even knowing it has happened. But today it's all *** k you, and endless ad hominem attacks. I've always assumed that is the last resort for someone who is losing an argument or can't figure out a real response.

The second problem is hyperbole. Everything is the end of the world, the greatest crisis since ______, or that person is evil incarnate. The problem with hyperbole of the extreme we see now is first, there is no way to describe something that is even worse, and second, you soon are correctly identified as a "chicken little" and your voice is marginalized.

No, that isn't the problem. The problem today is you're entitled to your own facts. That's the problem. And as long as that's true it doesn't matter what anybody is calling anybody else.

The problem is you assume everyone has a sane and coherent opinion. In a world of "climate change is a myth!" and "if we give tax breaks to the rich eventually that money will trickle down to everyone else!" and "well because in Levictus..." we just need to realize that not every position has merit and say "that's *ing stupid."

Even with Ailes gone, Greta's too old and gray to be a woman at Fox.

She went from being the closest thing Fox had to a liberal in their prime time lineup, to being part of MSNBC's shift to the middle.

I never knew this, but apparently she's a Scientologist? Yikes!

Didn't she get her break with the OJ trial?
