No, the ones that should be the most upset are those of us who voted for Hillary knowing it was the only option and knowing the Orange ****tard could get elected. Those of us who protest voted thinking there was no chance in hell the Orange ****tard would get elected have no right to complain.

No. So what? I mean really, what difference does it make?

For weeks both before and after the election all I read here is there is nothing in the emails. I tended to generally agree with that, although I'll admit I didn't read any of them either.

So, let's say the Russians or Wikileaks have a bunch of RNC emails in which operatives are making mean comments about HRC, Donald Trump or other people. Again, so what?

Don't just sit there and shout "Oh my God, the Russians have the DNC and RNC emails!!!!!!" Tell me how it affected the election.

Ok, so HRC apparently handled her email in a fashion that (according to numbers you believe to be accurate) a decent sector of the electorate felt was shady. The Russians told us about that. So, I should be mad at the Russians?

Edit: Let me ask it in another way. If the Russians leak a bunch of emails showing Trump taking bribes while in office, you guys going to go all freaky again on Russian spying?

To get public support in denouncing the election. Remember, Smith-Mundt was repealed as part of the NDAA, so the US Government can put out all the phony propaganda they want.

If DNC had been neutral Bernie might have beaten 'orange ****tard.' You need to step back and look at the bigger picture.

2016 was a missed opportunity: Bernie would have beaten the Tangerine Turd easily. But good lord 2020 will be an open nomination among the Democrats and conservatives should pray it's someone as moderate as Bernie. After what Trump and the GOP are about to unleash on the US, Karl Marx himself will be an odds-on favorite in 2020. Trump is the anthropomorphic manifestation of capitalism destroying itself, in a literal guise that anyone can understand.

As Scarlet said, yes and yes.

You started off by asking how the leaks could have influenced the election, and end up saying you don't care. Why bother asking then? The influence part is pretty easy to see on a timeline. Leaked emails have clear negative impact on Hillary. FBI clears her and people seem to move on and she sees support increase based on that. Last minute some "new" emails are released and have a clear impact. It sure feels like the timing of the last drop was intentional and with purpose. Is Hillary the one that did it, sure. But we also have data that suggests once she was cleared by the FBI a portion of those that were uneasy about it were much less so, until the "new" leak brought it back.

After all, wasn't it six weeks ago you were yelling about how there's no fixing, no pre-arrangements, and that we should be accepting the results no matter what? Not blaming the Russians at all. The election is over and Orange ****tard is going to be President. I am only concerned about the new administration already blowing off the CIA. If you're not concerned about that good for you.

Agreed. People wanted to give a middle finger to the system cause it sounded cool and smart...well #### them. They knew what they were risking and they did it anyways that makes them stupid my empathy died for them. I hope they enjoy what they wrought.

CIA was modeled after British secret agencies, and is one of Truman's greatest regrets when he was in office. If he knew how they would be responsible for assassinating a President (Kennedy), he would have never allowed it.

Well, look how "the system" has screwed them over for the past number of decades. Pick any administration during that time you wish; heck, even Reagan if you want to. Let's bring in an outsider who has actually worked and knows the true problems of the system. Only when you recognize a true problem can you work towards actually doing something about it.
