It's the first envelope of the joke.

Re: POTUS: Definitely Needs Anger Management

trump has opened the first two envelopes too many times to count. He'll never do what the third says, because he's King trump now, and doesn't believe he will ever need to step down. Something every single person who votes for him will also believe midway through his second term if the rest of us don't do what we need to do.

Subscribing to the "If you're not for me you're against me" argument is dangerous and counter productive almost all the time. The 2020 presidential election is one of the clearest and most important "exceptions that prove the rule" I have ever seen. If you are not FOR the person able to defeat trump at the polls (which means the DEMOCRATIC PARTY NOMINEE AND NO ONE ELSE) you are against him or her, and against a government of, by and for the people. Of this there can be no argument. This isn't Obama versus Romney, or Clinton Versus Dole, or even Lincoln versus McClellen. It is our nation succeeding as a representative democracy or our nation continuing down the hole of fascism.

^^^This. Or we can pray that the unhealthy diet and unhealthy lifestyle proves Darwin right. About the only way that this can end that would allow the country to recover and survive. Can't see how else you are going to deal with the deluded

Or we can pray that the unhealthy diet and unhealthy lifestyle proves Darwin right.

The problem is the unhealthy diet and unhealthy lifestyle of the Dumpies only takes them out long after they have had their litters of brats. Assume the typical Republican broodsow starts pumping them out at 14 (cuz, ya know, Christian values) and doesn't stop until her heart gives out at 36, even the various Darwinian mechanisms of guns at home, rock fights with siblings, and incapacity to understand medicine mean a growing tide of pink slime emanating from the red states.

This is why we used to have wars. Culling the herd.

Re: POTUS: Definitely Needs Anger Management

Tuesday, the White House indicated that it would veto the PFAS Action Act of 2019 legislation designed to keep harmful chemicals out of groundwater should it pass through the House and the Senate.

Sponsored by Michigan Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, the act is designed to reduce involuntary human exposure to PFAS, which are chemicals used in products like non-stick cookware and flame retardant foams. PFAS are known as "forever chemicals" because they are not expelled from the human body once they are ingested. Traces of PFAS, which have been linked to the formation of certain kinds of cancer, have been found in multiple sources of drinking water across the country.

"PFAS is a clear threat to human health and our environment," wrote Dingell in a November 2019 statement.

"The reality is a lot of contamination is connected to military sites and the Defense Department," Dingell's statement continued. "We are continuing to champion strong provisions in the National Defense Authorization Act to identify PFAS as a hazardous substance for the purpose of clean up under the EPA's Superfund program and facilitate coordinated response between local communities and the military."

But the Trump administration "strongly opposes" the passage of the act because it would not be cost-effective.

Wars don't suffice any longer.

Medical technology advancements have moved many of WWII's fatal war wounds into the "surgery and three months rehab" category.

It could if we fought them correctly. Nukes and Chemical Weapons would cull a lot of herd.

Wide scale use of WMDs in a larger conflict would easily and quickly surpass Ms Thunberg's concerns as the cause of an uninhabitable planet. You'd cull the whole herd.

Since our country's leaders do not care about Global Warming nor Clean Water I fail to see how that would be a big concern.

Re: POTUS: Definitely Needs Anger Management

Mitch and Lindsey take note: Lee and Rand still have a gag reflex.

Two Republican senators came out of a Trump administration briefing on the assassination of a top Iranian commander steaming mad, with one saying the briefing was so bad that it made him support a Democratic war powers resolution.

Talking to reporters after the briefing, Sens. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Rand Paul (R-KY) seemed exasperated.

It was “probably the worst briefing I’ve seen, at least on a military issue, in the nine years I’ve served in the United States Senate,” Lee said.

The Utah senator said the Trump administration briefers had communicated that Congress debating the appropriateness of future military action in Iran would “embolden” Iran.

“I find it insulting, and I find it demeaning to the Constitution of the United States to which we’ve all sworn an oath,” Lee said. Later, he said none of the briefers had stood in objection when one of them discouraged debate about military action against Iran.

Most, if not all, of the herd. Nowadays, if one button is pressed, they are all pressed. That's one of the few things (if only thing) that PREVENTS the button being pressed.

This is why we should work to eliminate ICBMs, which are aimed at cities, but allow battlefield nukes, which are aimed at enlistees.

Think of it as a Strategic SAT Improvement Program.
