Federal unfunded mandates. In many instances state debt derives from the federal Republican shell game of levying requirements without funding them, or of undercutting federal responsibilities and forcing the states to cover them. In many cases this has been a deliberate attempt to bankrupt blue states.

At least that money didn' go straight into Obama's pocket. Everywhere Trumpy goes, it's a property he owns. How much you suppose Mar-a-Lago charges him for his suite? 10, 20,000 a night? Rooms for the rest of his party and staff? You think the Secret Service has to double up, or do you think they all get their own room? At the insistence of the president, of course. Every penny going into Donald Trump's wallet.

But not a peep from you about that. But you cry about $15 million/year that Obama spent.

I'd actually be curious to see some type of comparison between all the presidents in current day dollars, it'd be interesting. Obviously certain things like aviation didn't exist for all presidents and I'm sure the ones way further back spent less even in today's money but it might be interesting to look at.

The other thing I would argue is that not all debt is bad and that line of thinking is silly in general. It's what you're using the debt for that matters.

Think of it as a normal everyday person, if they're in debt because they decided to go to medical school and become a doctor, that's vastly different than if they amassed a bunch of debt on payday loans to buy a bunch of expensive clothes or something like that. Same goes for government, using debt to finance things that help the economy recover for instance is a lot different than using it to give tax cuts to the rich. Especially when one side actually has a concrete plan to pay it back which I believe most of those states do.

That explains why Kushner went to Mueller to give evidence against Flynn...he was trying to head this off at the pass.

My guess is The Huckster will tell us that according to El ****edonedente Flynn was not part of the campaign and he has never heard of him. ;)

Next up is Sessions...his refusal to answer the other day will be step one in his downfall.

God knows Dump will probably outdo himself in stupidity by saying something like, "I don't need FAILING FLYNN to conspire with the Russians. I went to Putin MYSELF and committed treason. The lying liberal media tries to make it seem like your favorite president (ME) is weak and needs help betraying his country. Sad!"

If someone tweeted "Obama said Trump didnt conspire and wouldnt be able to anyways without help" your post would be his response 12 minutes later.

White House is calling Flynn an "ex-Obama official" and playing down his role in the Trump White House.
