The story I read was Kushner went in to talk to Mueller about Flynn not because of Flynn. It smells more likely to me that Kushner was sent to put the final nail in the coffin of Flynn in hopes Mueller and the DOJ wouldnt give Flynn a deal in order to get him to turn evidence. That is a very business world like maneuver...make the witness to your bad acts look so awful it discredits them before they can destroy you. Like media types slut shaming women who come forward to report abuse at the network.

Problem is politics doesnt work that way and Mueller doesnt care either way. Flynn was DOA anyways and Trump proved his disloyalty. To a military man that isnt going to go over well. Add in that Flynn Jr. is in deep doo doo and Crazy Eyes is going to say everything he can.

I still say Sessions is next...his testimony the other day was awkward at best and his constant story changing is going to lead to similar charges of lying to people he isnt supposed to lie too.

Sessions is a perfect example of how completely hypocritical the republican party is in 2017. Republicans should come to work with paper sacks on their heads.

Agree with everything except the final 'graph. If Flynn's testimony is what it is being reported to be they don't even need Sessions.

I think this winds up with Pence in a epic vise. They pull him in and give him a choice: either tell what you know and end Dump (and earn every Republican's lifelong scorn for your weakness) or lie and then be prosecuted like Flynn. Under those circumstances Pence folds like a cheap suit. He's a weakling.

I like how we couldn't confirm a SCOTUS because we had an election coming up but we can pass a hugely damaging tax bill with all this going on.

Your oblique attack on Obama's spending was neither sarcastic, nor humorous. Humor is supposed to be funny.

You're like Sarah Huckleberry Col. Sanders dismissing the most loathsome of Trumpy's Twitter screeds with "I think everyone understands the president was only joking"

My guess is there are 3rd graders who are more well read than trump. It would not suprise me in fact if trump's reading level is that of an elementary student. This myth that the right has perpetuated that he is of enormous intelligence is just another thing about him that is far more fiction than fact. I really wish he'd just hurry up and outlive his usefulness to the Russian mob.

It's a big fight every year. I posted quite heavily about it in June and July when the fiscal budget year begins.

But the president has consistently failed to demonstrate that he is genuinely religious. In 2015, Trump declared that the Bible was his “favorite book,” but then struggled to think of a single Bible verse when pressed about which was his favorite.

That poor toilet:

Some of the requests were more mundane in nature, including a redecoration of national security adviser H.R. McMaster's office and a new toilet seat for the Oval Office bathroom. That last request was directed to be completed "after hours please."
