So Trump retweeted a video of a "Muslim kid beating up a Dutch boy on crutches." (I'm on mobile, so I haven't quite mastered the embed command via phone).

Turns out, it's a brown haired Dutch boy that beats up a blonde haired Dutch boy. The brown haired boy was charged with assault.


White House sources say "the video doesn't matter, it just means there are real threats and Trump is serious about locking our borders."

No, that video means Trump's a racist a**hole trying to falsely claim Mulsims are all terrorists.

The only ones who will stand up to him are people like Collins who have no worry of being primaried and losers like Flake who have such a low approval rating in state they have no chance so they are walking away. No one who feels they could have issues in 2018 will do anything against Trump if they live in an a Red area.

And that is the problem. If Veritas was just trying to prove the Post was acting on misleading stuff I would be all for it. It isnt like it doesnt happen. (just ask Rolling Stone) But that wasnt what the fraud was fishing for...she wanted to prove the Post weas hoping to take Moore down. She wanted them to seem like rabid dogs looking to destroy him...and when they wouldnt guarantee he would "lose the election over the story" (tip 1: dont go big or go home on cons, and dont make it obvious you are looking to get the big score) she walked away thinking that would bait them in. (tip 2: walking away only works if the hook has been set. If you reel in your line early you catch nothing) In reality, the second she hinted at walking away anyone with an IQ over 12 would know she was lying about something even if she felt "threatened". (tip 3: you arent in a Robert Ludlom novel...pretending your phones are tapped or you are being watched only makes people doubt you more)

If Veritas was who they claimed to be, they would make millions going after Faux alone. This is like the cops entrapping the one guy looking to score a joint at a Grateful Dead concert when standing right next to him is 50 guys doing LSD out in the open.

Is this stuff really helping relations with the Muslim World? Shouldn't that be a goal. Yeah, I'm sick of fighting their wars, and let's get the hell out but I do believe in refugee's and the humanitarian side and I do believe in the first amendment and immigration. You know, Statue of Liberty, etc.

As for Joe Scarborough he'll have no problem defending himself.

Which makes me wonder, how does Dump stay at exactly the same support month after month? No doubt he keeps bleeding off a few people with his constant horribleness. But who is he picking up that he didn't have before? As stupid as it is to say "well, I was behind Dump before but now insulting the injuns is too much for me...," those guys would be saying "I had my reservations about him, but now that he's put those redskins in their place I'm on board!"

That's easy to answer. He's destroyed the media. When no one believes the news anymore no one changes their mind. Once you're bubblized you can't be swayed.

It's called people having some confidence in the country with him at the helm. Only in your wet dreams, or in what the propaganda machine is telling you, is he losing support.

Media has been destroying themselves for years. He's the first person of high position with enough balls to actually call them out on it. Only people without a brain would believe them without question.

I think it is a combination of people thinking that the country was on the wrong path prior to Trump, didn't like/trust Hillary at all(plus thought she represented status quo), and don't pay much attention. I tried to be open minded on Trump, and hoped that where he is more or less an independent as far as ideology maybe he would find a compromise on pressing issues, but it really hasn't worked out. If nothing else, I'm still holding out hope that as a result of him a third party develops that represents 'regular people' and isn't as extremely as the two main parties have become in recent times.

So they are so sealed off from reality they simply have no idea what he's doing, and they just get off on Their Guy being a "winner"?

That may be so. If so, even a recession shouldn't shake his 37%. Assuming the Echo Chamber is that tight a seal, they'll never even know.
