I wonder how many other Presidents would have honored the Navajo Native Americans from World War II with Pocohantas comments and in front of a portrait of Andrew Jackson? You have to admit, it's got pizzazz. The most interesting thing about it is that he just keeps on being a racist ********* and the entire conservative wing of the United States eats it up like candy.

And just like he planned, all the back and forth in comments sections was all about Elizabeth Warren.

I disagree. His racism is calculated and it works. That entire Pocohontas and Andrew Jackson scene was planned out and executed to a fine degree and it's working it's magic across the country. The scheme was further enhanced by Colonel Sanders and her defense of it.

I’m not sure, Scooby. Take flaggy as an example of a typical Trump supporter. It doesn’t take smarts or even a coherent plan to keep him in tow.

No. Dump is StumbleBaby. He careens from wall to wall and an army of scribes pours after him analyzing his path as if it had some sort of plan or meaning.

But he's not planning anything. There's no mind there. Only an id and a maw.

In this case I disagree. This all started with Birtherism and it's escalated from there. Birtherism was a calculation and the start of his political and Presidential aspirations. Before birtherism he was by most accounts not this extreme with his racism. I think it's on purpose.

Hmmm.

I'll give you that Birtherism was an obvious con to get him on the radar of Flag et al. IINM his son has even stated publicly that Birtherism is so dumb Dump was obviously only using it to build cred with the rubes.

The problem here is I used to subscribe to the idea that Dump, while an execrable lump of subhuman filth, was also a competent manipulator of the media and that what he did was build brand and shape the news cycle. But then he became president and did nothing but hurt himself with his idiocy. He has been his own worst enemy (thank god). So gradually I became convinced that Dump's not planning anything at all, he is literally an imbecile.

But I'll give you Birtherism. Unless it can be shown somebody actually convinced him of it and then he took it and ran, that does mean at some level he can execute a plan.

Oh, come on. They didn't have to do the ceremony there. There are a ton of places they could do it. It was deliberate.

I know, there is that. The rules are no longer competence and governance, they are "there's no such thing as bad publicity."

Other politicians used tantrums to support policies. Dump uses policies to fuel his supporters' tantrum.

Dump knows, instinctively, that a third of Americans and 2/3rds of Republicans just want to watch the world burn.

It's only on purpose insofar as the man has an animal cunning to plant himself firmly in every crevice between the most reactionary portion of the electorate and the mass of voters above, and then claim the support of the portion that he's sitting atop as he babbles about issues he doesn't understand (and of course, expresses shock and outrage at being caught in a crevice).

The term to apply is "Faux-cahontas" as high cheek bones does not a Native American make. Trump messes that up continually.
