Republicans: Inflation is too high, Biden sucks!

< Administration policy adjusts, tightening the money supply. Inflation drops, interest rates go up. >

Republicans: Interest rates are too high! Biden sucks!

I get your point, but at the same time, I can understand how the masses miss the correlation between the two...

For a Joe Six Pack, he's seen his weekly grocery bill go from $100/week to $130-150/week and feels that sting. Now he looks at getting a new vehicle and his payments that were $400/month on his last vehicle are now $500+...

Just like with fuel prices, most people don't understand the mechanics that create them. They just know that Y > X and that they have less money as a result.

And at the same time, they ignore that they either got a job they didn't have or got a better one.

Actually a lot of them just grind away at the same job. A lot of the people in this demographic actually have steady income from wherever. They know their budget and they know that something that was working for them now isn't working as efficiently. That's where the problem lies.

My points is that the labor market has expanded a lot in the last year. Just in 2023, over 1,000,000 jobs have been added to the economy. That's pretty darned good.

Not sure why chucky would be so upset about that.

Let alone all of the on-shoring that's been going on. Two dumpy states have been gifted really large chip making plants while Sleepy Joe has been President. Clearly, that's a reason that he needs to go, apparently.

Because "team" and Fox told him to be mad.

The masses are as-ses.

Happily, it looks like Biden is actually able to talk to them, which Democrats rarely are good at because too much schooling can't talk about tractors all day anymore.

And yet, wages are also growing faster than they had been. But that doesn't count.

The asterisk note in small yellow is doing *all* of the heavy lifting of this graphic:

The Right tries to create a recession, so people will suffer and blame Biden.

It does not get more cynical than that.

And the COVID numbers have to be assumed, I would imagine- as it's pretty impossible to figure that out. Let alone the mess the economy was as the end of 2020. Let alone those numbers vs. factchecks numbers- https://www.factcheck.org/2023/04/bi...-april-update/ where 12.6M jobs have been added under Biden, which is 3.2M more than before the Pandemic.

edit- factcheck also says that since Jan 2021, there have been 787k additional manufacturing jobs. Considerably more than the claimed 204k and the 454k.

BTW, it's pretty funny that democrats are the ones who are bringing up specific things to talk about. Come chucky, you can cut and paste other things besides cartoons and devo videos. At least then, we can tell you why faux says it like that.

Everyone gets hit with the cost increases and the increase in wages are very uneven. When I go on LinkedIn I see tons of posts from people who were laid off. I also saw a recruiter the other day in my area post the market is tough right now for job seekers(this is someone only doing professional/corporate type jobs.)

Says the guy who ignores the fact the 2020 Wuhan Flu wasn't first hatched, then seized upon for power, by his team.

THEN created the worst inflation in over 40 years by passing needless trillions of dollars of over the top spending.

And whose team tried to wish away last year's actual recession by changing the definition of "recession" - FACT - The nation’s GDP fell 1.6% on an annualized basis in 2022 Q1, and followed that up with a 0.9% drop in 2022 Q2.

Tellya what, I came for the purpose of sticking President Magoo's chronic failings in your collective faces/feces ...

... but I've stayed WAY longer than I ever expected due to the sheer unintended comedy of the place.

Like I said a few posts ago, folks ... don't go changing ... ever ...

Don't have to "wish" away the contraction when the GDP has made up those losses in the last 4 quarters. Heck, the losses in those two quarters was totally made up in Q3. We all know you like to live in the past, chucky, but you could at least make an attempt that the problems have persisted. They haven't, btw. The only issue now is to get a balance to the whole economy while countries (China) are still doing odd things for your wuhan flu. Let alone dealing with your buddy's invasion of Ukraine.

But if you just want to live in two bad quarters and not see that we are doing much better, you are welcome to leave your head up your rear end.

And it's pretty amusing that you think this is so bad for Sleepy Joe when your worship and his kids have apparently done a lot, lot worse gaining money and advantage while your worship was president. At least you could *pretend* to care about the law evenly.

Ever wonder why that is?

I'll give you a hint. Corporate does not want to pay those types of people.

Chucky, we are asking for specific things that are happening *right now* that you are so bothered about. Let alone real quotes.

For me, I don't have a job, and it's pretty much all because of government regulations. You see, I spent most of 30 years working to meet government regulations. And I did it so well that I retired last year. So I clearly know and understand the direct economic impact of government regulations. They are really good for highly skilled jobs.

So for you to come up with random, made up, quotes to convince me that you have a point- you are going to need a lot more than that- you need SPECIFIC items where D's are so bad for the country. And whining about the Biden's making money being President or VP- seriously? Vs your worship who made money while president and his kids have raised +3B in an area where they don't work, almost all of it from countries not the US. If you are just 1% as smart as you think you are, you can clearly do better than that.

Or are you just another russian bot from your bestie Vladdie? You all worship the strong man dictator, we know that. I'm sure you would pee your pants to meet leader Kim, too.
