Lol, I was very supportive of student loan relief and think we should do more so folks don’t have to pay as much in interest. No way in **** should we bail out SVB.

It's true, Drew was upset Biden didn't go back in time and change the original amount of loans people took out, that being a totally realistic request and a totally sincere argument to make.
 
Biden approves the Willows project in Alaska so that ConocoPhillips can drill, baby, drill through at least 2050. God damnit, Joe.
 
I've read about this, and it seems that in the realpolitik way, this is a good deal. From what I've read, this was happening one way or another - the courts would absolutely overrule any federal attempt to stop it - and the Administration realized that and pivoted to extracting other concessions.

Unless there is a change in state law, state revenue will decline by $1 billion to $1.6 billion during the development and early operational years of the Willow project because of a gift to the oil industry in state oil tax law, according to state reports from 2018 and 2023.

The latest analysis says the state won’t have a positive cumulative cash flow from Willow until 2035.

ConocoPhillips is allowed to write off the expenses of developing Willow, which is on federal land, against the oil taxes due the state from production at profitable Prudhoe Bay and elsewhere on the North Slope.

Yeah cause no other major policy person has ever stepped down in any other administration ever so this all means something very big and conspiratorial clearly.
 
You can literally track what Drew watches in real time by looking at which propagandist spreads a story when, because he's blurting it here thirty minutes later.

We should just start releasing joke stories into the Echo Chamber biosphere to see how quickly Drew repeats them. Kamala Harris is not an USPER, she is a citizen of Liechtenstein.

IIRC Broward County is pretty blue and is also home to Stoneman Douglas HS. I'm guessing DeathSantis has some corporate donors and tourist industry businesses to placate. Cruise lines and hotel chains, perhaps?
