My point too. Things are going to be crap regardless, so better to stand on the sideline and yell that your plan would have magically solved stuff. Can't unprove a negative. I mean, that WAS basically his message in 2016.

Yeah I already posted that...everyone needs to share it. The republican pac wouldn’t stop the edited/fake Obama stuff in SC but trump wants his actual words to cease and desist. LOL

The problem is his quotes were edited. What he actually said in full context:

“Coronavirus. They’re politicizing it,” Trump said in February. “We did one of the great jobs. You say, ‘How’s President Trump doing?’ ‘Oh, nothing, nothing.’ They have no clue. They don’t have any clue. ... And this is their new hoax. But you know we did something that’s been pretty amazing.”

What he's saying (poorly as always) is the hoax is their claim he's done nothing. Now we know in fact his organization has s**t the bed every step of the way, but he's not technically referring to the virus as a hoax.

I don't care because I like the ad and they have no defense their handling of the crisis, but to be fair...

i can even read that as Trump saying, “Since the Ukraine hoax didn’t work, hammering me about Coronavirus is their new weapon of choice - this is their new angle.”

But as badly as he twists others’ words against them and flat out lies, I have zero sympathy. Reap what you sow, mfer.

1) He said the actual words in question.
2) Maybe then he should stop throwing the "word" hoax around willy nilly. Difficulty level: a vocabulary of more then 20 words.
3) Even with that parsing, the thing he said is a hoax clearly happened, so tethered swimming for him.
