Re: POTUS 45.7 - Has the left reached the acceptance stage yet?
By stating that at least half the country is poor and uneducated while you claim to be the exact opposite is completely elitist. I don't know how you could read that post without coming to the conclusion that you think you are better then the group you are referring. I personally don't want to see anyone hurting or struggling, but you make it sound like you are okay with that.
But if you want to talk generalizations, okay. Liberals are typically the ones more easily offended and need to be coddled. All the lawsuits out there come to mind. So your statement about patronizing the group is puzzling to me.
If people dont want to do what is in their best interests that is their flipping problem. If a bunch of people in Kansas/Wisconsin want to vote for people that destroy their schools and their economy (multiple times in both cases) then too bad for them. There is nothing wrong with being a Republican or a Conservative but when things crap the bed for them (and they almost always do) I am not going to waste one second letting my heart bleed for them.
I wasnt always this way, but then they helped elect a clown as the head of the Free World...a man so unqualified and so ridiculous and hateful that he makes George W. Bush look like General Marshall. This is what they wanted, well they got it. When they get black lung from working in the mines cause they were too lazy or too bull headed to learn a different trade, well thems the breaks. When they knock up their girlfriend and cant get an abortion...oh well. When they lose their job and cant get food stamps or unemployment and Medicare/Medicaid cant help them because it has been gutted...sucks to be them. When they get diseases from use of pesticides that everyone knows makes people sick...they have no one to blame but themselves. When their water can be set on fire or makes Mexican Water look like Evian...well you know.
They knew what was coming, they were told by the clown they elected what he was going to do. They chose to either blissfully ignore that it could effect them or didnt care. Well...see...I am a white middle class male in his 30s living in the suburbs of a very liberal state that has one of the highest standards of living in the country so I am fine. They made my life better. They screwed over pretty much everyone else though (including themselves) so I feel no real sympathy for them. Elections have consequences and they are feeling them.
BTW this also goes for any nimrod that supported Johnson or Stein (those two arent qualified to run a Foot Locker) and any of the dumbass Bernie Bros who either abstained or voted against the Dems. You lost your right to beg for help the second you decided your ideas were more important than what is best for the country.
I hate that it needs to be like this, but if they are going to hate us if we try and help them (which they do) and they are going to hate us if we dont (which they do) why the hell should I care anymore? I will help those that want it and are wiling to help others as well.
