This could get awfully interesting. More and more people are reading through the indictment and trying to put names to co-conspirators 1-6. Most are finding it pretty easy to get 1-3, but the last half are seemingly more varied.

WHere i'm interested is the growing number of legal experts I follow that think Ginni Thomas is #5 or #6.

Edit: Southpaw says #5 & 6 are not likely to be thomas.

Ginni would likely not be part of it...or we would know quick. There is no way that doesn't get leaked and quick. That was wishful thinking.

6. The indictment says they are “a political consultant who helped implement a plan to submit fraudulent slates of presidential electors to obstruct the certification proceeding.” The indictment also further ties this person to the fake elector slate in Pennsylvania.

This is a beautiful indictment. So glad it came with another visit from Chuck, and Drew popping in to whine about the deficit again. So fitting. Why is it beautiful?

It states clearly that Trump has EVERY right to say everything he has said. I personally believe he crossed the line there since he was in fact the most powerful man in the World. But set that aside. It also states clearly that he had every right to bring 63 cases in Court to try and prove his belief. He did. They all failed. They all knew they were perpetrating a fraud on the Court. But, that's not in here either.

All this indictment does say is you cannot through criminal means perform acts in furtherance of your beliefs. And that is true. No matter how you slice it. No one says the people on January 6th did not believe the Bullshit they were spewing. No, what we say is you can't "riot" at the Capital and get away with it. That's not allowed.

Also most fascinating as far as the election, and primary in the GOP is concerned. Tim Scott has come out as Mr. American Story Nice Guy for his campaign. Oh, I'm so lovable. Racism is over look at me. Everyone can have my dream. Etc, etc, etc.

In response to this indictment he again doubled down on this being a Weaponized Biden DOJ. And Stephen Hayes of all people called him out on it.

The other beautiful thing about this indictment. All the testimony contained within is Republican. There's not a single woke communist that provided evidence for this case. Not a one.

Thank you, Liz Cheney. Without you I believe this never would have happened.
 
The indictment, at least, is what I wanted to see in terms of taking the coup seriously.

I still don't think he'll ever see the inside of a prison, where by all rights he should rot until he dissolves into a pool of slime. But my justice hope level has now moved from 0 to 1%.

Put him to trial, and if convicted, Biden would look really good (in a saner time) to commute TFG’s sentence, but not pardon him. It would look like an olive branch, but still bar TFG to the sidelines for all future elections.

Because a commutation does not scrub the felony.

But I cannot believe anybody is still thinking in terms of extending an olive branch. These are fascists.

40% of the country are Dumpies. Of those, half are fascists like him. The only thing to do with them is containment. Slice them up into little electoral strips where they get zero representation, and let them keep dwindling by the graces of the good lord Darwin. The other half are just programmed by the Echo Chamber and when the Plutes retake the party they will slurp up the next mindless goo poured into the trough by ALEC to keep them voting to cut their own throats. Them we can handle.

No olive branch to any Dump or Dumpy. They are cancer and their true believers are cancerous cells. Chemo and surgery.

I thought so, but maybe not.

It's completely insane. Apparently he can serve, but he might not have powers. But then maybe he could pardon himself and then take back his powers... nobody knows.

Let's just not find out. If America is still capable of any level of patriotism and adulthood, let's just see that he loses in the general election by 30 points. Please?
