I would assume federal taxes also, as the payments to Cohen were written up as business expenses, which I assume he would then try to write off.

But since it's NY, and state court, guess they can't charge that. Too bad Trump's Justice Department told Cy Vance to back off his case, since they were on it at the Fed level.

And then did nothing.

I had heard that but I didn't want to comment cause I wasn't sure I heard it right. Glad you confirmed it. Makes the case an even bigger slam dunk.
 
You know the worst part of this- the grift is accelerating. I saw that some r's are telling their worshipers to donate money to dumpy.

Christ, they can't even grift properly. They're supposed to set up their own "Help Trump" fund and skim off of that.
 
Just last night, a Conservative yahoo from where I grew up reposted a meme comparing what happens to people who cross the border illegally into Iran and North Korea to how we treat undocumented immigrants here, with the plain implication that we should be more like them. I mean, authoritarianism was always the destination for modern conservatism, but that’s cutting right to the chase.

If he admires those countries so much, he should move to one! I hear the labor camps are lovely this time of year. I'm sure he'll love the pigeon torture and the mock executions.
