Basically the 793 is the much easier charge to prove (basically prove he had files he should not have) and then build to the 794 if the investigation turns them up. Same things they do to mob bosses and other criminals. You don't want to overcharge early cause if you do and can't prove it then you are fucked.

No matter what though Trump is in a heap of trouble, and you can tell that the GOP "in the know" get that that is is why they are deflecting.

BTW The Dems refusing to discuss this beyond vagaries is perfection. Stay the hell away from it, the GOP makes themselves look bad every time they talk no need to jump in the mud with them. Watching them change their story every 12 hours is delicious and is going to hurt them way more than they think.

BTW the names of the agents were released cause Breitbart released the unredacted warrant.

Interesting little article I just read.

In essence, Donnie just recently made both Kash Patel and "journalist" John Solomon his representatives to the National Archives. Significantly, on the very day that the DOJ requested surveillance footage from Mar a Lago that covered the room where the stolen documents were housed. Did he do this because that surveillance footage showed both Patel and Solomon accessing that material, at a time when they didn't have security clearances to do so, and so naming them to these positions now is an effort to excuse that access?

it's not the football, as many have speculated, but you don't see many leather bound boxes.

I've seen some speculation that Solomon may be a registered foreign agent as well under FARA
