“Andrew Giuliani, the son of Rudy Giuliani and a former staffer for then-President Trump, said he intends to run for governor of New York next year — with Republicans seeking an upset victory in the state amid a slew of scandals facing Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
“Outside of anybody named Trump, I think I have the best chance to win and take the state back, and I think there's an opportunity in 2022 with a wounded Democratic candidate," Giuliani said in a new interview.

And TBH I enjoy Chris Cuomo's radio show. He is obviously very smart and he is good at explaining legal arguments. He is absurd about his brother but of course -- I don't want to meet people who are objective about loved ones, that's gross.
Andrew can DIAF. I'm just glad he imploded before he ran for Prez.

Every time I listen to CC I often find myself thinking he's an obnoxious boor whose confidence masks his actual (lower) intelligence. He's smarter than average and on some topics he's fairly knowledgeable, he ain't what I would call 'very smart'. YMMV.
That aside, surprisingly I usually like listening to his show as well. I think he does challenge POVs fairly well and he seems to do the research. But his east coast schtick is often too much for this midwesterner.
As for legal talk shows, I really like Dan Abrams. And as much as I hate to say it, Smerconish did a good job breaking that stuff down as well.

I meant he's smart for a lawyer, as a lawyer. It's a crimped type of thinking but because of that it can be very deep in its limited scope. He also has a New Yorker's braying confidence which I'm sure is repellant to 99% of people but which makes me homesick, as long as I have an off switch inches away.

Smerconish is good when he isn't self-promoting, which means he's good 12% of the time. He also repeats ad nauseum because he is a radio dude through and through and they are raised on the adage "it's a new audience every ten minutes." I can only take him in very limited dosages.
The one exception is when he talks about dirty tricks. Then he's hilarious. He's told stories about the games lawyers play during discovery that have almost made me drive off the road.

She is evil like them...and only brings up her heritage when it helps her AND makes them look less racist. She will never truly be one of them just like Tim Scott isn't no matter how much he hates his own race sometimes.
