The look back is so great.
I hope that renegotiation was worth it. But then again, she's as big a shirt as he is.
She changed from her somber all black outfit to resort wear pretty quickly. I saw something somewhere (probably on Twitter) asking if her huge sunglasses were hiding a black eye.
The Department of Homeland Security, now helmed by President Joe Biden, announced late Wednesday night that acting Homeland Security Secretary David Pekoske had established a 100-day moratorium on some deportations while the department’s immigration enforcement policies are under review, effective Friday.
The department will “pause removals for certain noncitizens” to “ensure we have a fair and effective immigration enforcement system focused on protecting national security, border security, and public safety,” according to the announcement.
“The pause will allow DHS to ensure that its resources are dedicated to responding to the most pressing challenges that the United States faces, including immediate operational challenges at the southwest border in the midst of the most serious global public health crisis in a century,” the department said.
While I do want to let this thread die, I certainly don't want to sully the President Biden thread with this:

If there was ever a time to actually be flabbergasted, this is it.

I think I saw that Ivanka and Jared have now moved to Florida as well, and that reminded me of a question that I thought about a couple of weeks ago.
Does anyone think that they are hoping that when/if NY state charges them with a crime, it'll have to demand that they be extradited back to NY, and they're hoping DeSantis will block it?
I'm not entirely sure how state to state extradition works, but I thought it basically involved getting a warrant, then one governor requesting that another governor see that the fugitive be nabbed and returned.
I looked for Florida's statute, and found the link below. Not sure if 941.04 and 941.07 give him any flexibility or not. Just a thought.

I am pretty sure a state cannot deny extradition. Cuz we're, you know, a nation.
But then again if (when) Alabama starts demanding that black people be extradited for execution because they are black, New York will tell them to pound sand, so hey who knows?

Even still, NY could just seize properties that are connected to all of them. That would wake up a few people. Especially since dumpy is the full owner of them- dumpy tower has to be the most valuable thing in his real estate.
Just doing a little Google search since my post, it does appear that a state like NY could go into federal court and get an order to command Florida to produce Trump. Oddly enough it appears that such a decision is a relatively recent development, coming out of a case in dispute between Governor Branstad in Iowa and Puerto Rico back in 1987.
Could FL say, "um... we don't have him?" i.e., could they punt actually popping him to the Feds? And if it wasn't a federal crime could the Feds even get involved?
Now I'm intrigued. Certainly if this was YET ANOTHER WAY rich people could evade justice we would have heard about it before.
Serious question, does Dump even own Dump Tower or does he just rent them his name like his other cesspools?
Edit: as of 2016 he still did. But given that he was flat busted broke who knows whether he still does, or whether by shell inside shell inside shell company it's not now MBS? Or Vlad?
The Dumps certainly tried to steal billions from the US Treasury. I guess we'll find out what they managed to haul away after the trials when we claw it all back.
It's one thing to "own" the buildings, another to have any equity in them.
Right, I meant outright.
You think they are mortgaged to the hilt? Is that a matter of public record? Or in his taxes?
Before he started selling American national security to the Russians he had to have some collateral for his Deutche Bank loans.
