Right except that isnt what happened. Cuomo never said what Trump is alleging that is internet conspiracy crap. Trump is pretending Cuomo doesn't want the vaccine because it comes from Trump's WH which s a joke.

Biden has smarter lawyers and bureaucrats. He will staff his temp positions without legal problems or he will simply run the departments from lower down, non-Senate confirm posts.

That simply means the career staffers become acting secretaries, which is probably ok in most instances. You generally don't get that high in non- political positions without knowing your shit.

It is better. Pols are good at kissing babies. They don't have any real brains when it comes to the technical content of their responsibilities. They are like businessmen or news anchors: they have the ability to be out front in a very superficial (albeit necessary) world that runs on looks, guffaws, conventional (wrong) ideas, and glad handing. But they're B students. If they weren't they would not have devoted their lives to infantile pursuits like making money or begging for votes from the Common Dope.

The ideal government has average people to appeal to and not frighten the boobocracy, and then very smart, likely unpleasant people doing the technical tasks that actually matter.
 
Thanks for the info. Makes me feel better about it.

I have to keep reminding myself that competency is a core competency for a normal administration.
