@BenSasse
to Nebraska GOP State Central Committee before it censures him: "You are welcome to censure me again – but let’s be clear about why: It’s because I still believe (as you used to) that politics is not about the weird worship of one dude.”

It's a standard litigation procedure to put the other party on notice that evidence in their possession is relevant to claims that have been or will be made against them. If the party does destroy evidence it knows is relevant, they may be found guilty of spoliation, which could result in severe sanctions against them. You take away the other side's "I didn't know it was relevant to a claim against me" excuse by putting them on notice this way.

Apparently Parler kept asking Trump to join in hopes of helping their profile...and he said he would only do it if they gave him a stake in the company. Sounds about right!

Headline is Trump held Teresa May's hand.

Story is about a BBC documentary on Trump's dealings with world leaders, and how they all found him nuts.

Oh.

I assumed their intel agencies briefed them that he was gross and stupid as a rock before they met him, so that they would be mostly amused with a touch of disgust at the American voter.

Macron tried and is, in some ways, still trying to curry favor with Dump and far-righties. He recently condemned Twitter banning him in the wake of the Capitol riot. Even Merkel expressed Susan Collins-like "concern" at that action.

Pay wall. Please summarize.

"For the former French president François Hollande, who dealt with Trump only briefly, an early red flag was raised when the US leader asked him in all earnestness who he should appoint to his team in the White House."

If only Hollande had made a good suggestion...

Dump's top priority with Malcolm Turnbull was to show off his SCIF, other top notch incites from foreign leaders.
