I'm confident it will lose in the Senate, but I really want to have all of the names who think it was ok to risk their lives by their worship. dumpy incited a planned insurrection on Congress, and it risked the lawful #2 and #3 President's life (as they threatened both) let alone all of the rest of the House and Senate. To say you are ok with a President and cronies to call that would be powerful to get them out. Or at least put "dictator lover" on their campaign.

It might go through the Senate when they're all repeatedly reminded that with impeachment would come the revocation of his $200k salary for life, revocation of his $1M yearly travel expense account, revocation of Secret Service protection for him and his family for life, revocation of free health care for life, revocation of an office space and staff provided by the government for life, AND other perks that come for his lifetime following his Presidency.

Its not that easy. Impeachment is not a fast process. And in this situation it is very very dangerous. We have a crazy man who already tried a coup once and a lot of people who are already talking about another attempt in 2 weeks. This goes sideways and the 6th could look like a bake sale...

Personally I think my dad had it right...screw the rules walk into the WH and bring him out in chains. Bring them all out and blast it live with a full on perp walk. Show the traitors what happens when you fcuk around. Make HIM the example not some red neck in Arkansas. Impeachment will stall out we all know it. There isnt enough time and the Senate will never convict. Put him in front of a DC court though and live stream every second of it. And make it be known that anyone who dares obstruct in any way will feel the full wrath of the federal judicial system thrown upon them.

Sedition cannot be ignored. When JWB killed Lincoln they made an example out of him and his co-conspirators. Trump needs to see what happens to traitors.

Not really. But one could hope that somewhere in the 93 who certified they could scare up a dozen and a half GOP who aren't afraid to let their balls drop just once.

I meant the Senate who would have to convict him for him to lose it.

At best they would get 5...unless Mitch is convinced. None of the Cruz Conspirators will that is a lock.

Unless...some damning info comes out that forces the issue. This is where you need someone who knows where the bodies are buried.

Yup. I keep hearing about the nuke codes, the only way those get used now are if the Russian missiles are already in the air. The military isn’t going to strike anyone on his orders. He’s been completely neutered.

Yeah no one in the chain of command is taking an order from anyone at the WH at this point unless they are completely cut off from Trump. Anything he says will be considered immoral and a violation of the code of conduct (I forget how they word such an order) and will be ignored.

Thank God that the Liberals stayed home...they almost got everything they wanted. If BLM had showed up and all hell broke loose he declares Martial Law and...well I think we all know.

As to your second paragraph, yeah, I’ve been thinking about that a lot these last few days. I told my wife on 1/5, “we have two things that are going to happen tomorrow. 1. Nothing and we all move on. 2. They rush the capitol or there are clashes with antifa. If 2, we’re all in a fucking world of trouble especially if there are major clashes.”

Thank god Maga people don’t believe in education and LARP instead actually plan this stuff out. If they were smart and organized, those quick cuffs might have been used and then we’re looking at a very different world 1/7.

You know, I've been out for about 4 years and on hormones for about 3. In that time, the refrain for why I can be denied employment, housing, even service at IHOP is "private businesses can do whatever they want."

Tonight, I cackle as loud as I can, knowing the President of the United States has been removed from three major social media platforms (and an upstart platform is gone from the Play Store) and the cry on social media from MAGA chuds is "IT'S NOT FAIR! IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN TO US!"

The only thing I could think of when I was watching that video was to wonder how many of those same cops would have opened fire on a Black Lives Matter crowd had they been doing the same thing. My guess is dozens would have been shot.
