I hear bullets kill it...his people should try it and confirm.

The whole injecting themselves with bleach thingy is promising. We just need Hannity advertising it. Let the man get his beak wet; he could be a hero yet.

True...I mean Clorox kills like 99% of bacteria!

Hey maybe the Trumpers can try eating Tide Pods

There is a reason some people sit on their hands...

Going through her head:

"How did this moron get elected president of the United States? And he's my boss! I have to take orders from him.

Jesus, I could use some bleach right now"

Re: POTUS 45.63: This Thread Gets Better Ratings Than The Super Bowl

You'd think he would recommend something that's readily available. Sheesh. There hasn't been any inventory of Lysol products or bleach in stores for quite some time.

One less vote for Dump

What does the NYT get by playing both sides of this? Everyone who thinks they’re biased already calls them fake news and doesn’t care what they write. I would like to think it’s lazy writing, but it happens too many times for that to be true.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Holy ****, they did it. They actually ran the “Trump says the sun rises in the West, some experts disagree” headline we’ve been joking about for three years. They’ve transcended parody. <a href="https://t.co/K0FXFlsizA">https://t.co/K0FXFlsizA</a></p>— John Rogers (@jonrog1) <a href="https://twitter.com/jonrog1/status/1253673515904978945?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">April 24, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

NYT = sniveling cowards. Have been for a looooong time even before Chump got in. Stop playing "both sides do it' and lose access which is more important than life itself to the people who run the Times.

The actual article and its headline don't play both sides. This is yet another reason why Twitter is bad and its users should feel bad.

Re: POTUS 45.63: This Thread Gets Better Ratings Than The Super Bowl

Do we score that as being killed from Covid-19 or with Covid-19. I'd hate to artificially inflate the death numbers...

;)

If they **ahem** bite the bullet, we can classify them as however they want.

OOOH I got an idea! I say we let them all dress up as Confederate Soldiers and do a bunch of re-enactments! Only thing is since we are healthy we get all the bullets! They get to die gloriously in battle fighting for their states rights with their guns in their cold dead hands and we get to save the friggin world!

He must have stock in Proctor and Gamble or something...

Uh it was the NYTimes that tweeted out the original "both sides" statement so if they misrepresented their own article they are even dumber than we give them credit for.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">At a White House briefing, President Trump theorized — dangerously, in the view of some experts — about the powers of sunlight, ultraviolet light and household disinfectants to kill the coronavirus <a href="https://t.co/cm6fyxqQ0O">https://t.co/cm6fyxqQ0O</a></p>— The New York Times (@nytimes) <a href="https://twitter.com/nytimes/status/1253556794405896192?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">April 24, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

NY Times Actual Headline said:
Trump Muses About Light as Remedy, but Also Disinfectant, Which Is Dangerous

They could have literally tweeted the headline and it says everything that needs to be said. Or if they wanted a bit more said they could have tweeted:

NY Times said:
At a briefing, the president promoted unproven treatments and asked Dr. Deborah Birx if she had heard of the success of sunlight as a tool against viruses.

If they dont want people to misread what they say, how about say it better. They could have just printed the headline of the story but, as usual, they were too chickenchit to deal with people on Twitter who might be mean to them. So they soften it and make themselves just look stupid. That isnt Twitter as the problem...that is the Times as the problem.

Look, I don't disagree, but it also doesn't contradict my statement that Twitter is bad and its users (including the NYT) should feel bad. If Twitter had never been created, I don't think we'd have lost anything of value. In fact, it might be have even been a net positive.

Meh, all the kids these days are using TikTok or some other platform I've probably never even heard of anyway. Twitter is mainly for my generation and Russian bots.

Yeah but Russian Bots are fun. They try SO HARD to not seem like bots :D

Twitter is good for news aggregation and for finding stuff to laugh at. It is dangerous when people use it for shaming or spreading misinformation, but that pre-dates Twitter anyways.
