But I thought we can't have un-elected government officials making our decisions for us.

As noted by Scooby we have 4% of the world's population and nearly 33% of all cases. And this weasel is spiking the football.

Wait, Maggie Haberman is defending CNN and NOT Trump or the Trump Org?

Re: POTUS 45.63: This Thread Gets Better Ratings Than The Super Bowl

Is there something that’s going to come out today besides the unemployment numbers? He’s been on a Twitter bender about Flynn, the Dems, news, Sweden and whatever else I missed.

Usually he only does this if he’s trying to distract from something else, but the unemployment numbers were expected so I can’t believe it’s just that.

Re: POTUS 45.63: This Thread Gets Better Ratings Than The Super Bowl

He’s pushing something about the fbi trying to get Flynn in a lie. Even though Flynn plead.

Just pardon him already and get back to attacking D governors

Re: POTUS 45.63: This Thread Gets Better Ratings Than The Super Bowl

My guess is he's saving the pardons for the outcome of the election. If he loses, he can bury them in headlines about contesting the election results. If he wins, he'll make them part of the victory lap.

The fact that we cruised past his 60k "did a fantastic job" prediction isnt helping. That his base seems to be the ones getting sick now certainly isnt good. We are still losing over 2k people a day only now half arent coming from New York and New Jersey.

Let's not be hasty.

For him ;) I will allow it :)

It still boggles my mind the AARP isnt throwing a fit that an entire political party is saying "If you are old...suck it up and die already." Apparently Death Panels are ok as long as we kill old people.

The AARP long ago ceased to be an advocate for the elderly and became a mechanism for corporations to monetize them.

Re: POTUS 45.63: This Thread Gets Better Ratings Than The Super Bowl

WaPo broke news an hour ago that the treasury department was going to cancel some debt owed by China.

Larry Kudlow just had to issue a statement saying that they are *not* cancelling any debt owed by China.

Which probably means that Trump was getting his loans to China cut as long as China debt was canceled via a quid pro quo, but they got caught.

From FP: Trump Uses European Deterrence Funds to Build Border Wall
The Pentagon chief directed the Pentagon Comptroller Elaine McCusker to take nearly $546 million from military construction projects to pay for the wall, a possible attempt to get past lawmakers. More than half of the money repurposed for the wall by Esper on Wednesday was intended for NATO allies to deter a potential war with Russia.

Avoiding greater negative press than if he stole even more funds from military housing and schools on US bases.
