Make sure you mention to friends and family who have moved recently (or maybe even not so recently) that they should check on their voter registration. A conservative group is trying hard to see to is that Wisconsin suppresses as many votes in 2020 as they did in 2016. The attempt will center on people who have "moved."

My hope is people motivated enough about the political turns this country has taken in the last few elections are motivated enough to be paying attention to the various methods republicans have used to suppress votes. Double check your own registration and the rules. Tell your friends and family to do so too. If you know someone who struggles with a language barrier, or has mobility challenges due to age or any other reason, do a good deed and help them out.

That's happening everywhere the GOP has any power. They can't win if they don't cheat. Every voter needs to stay on top of their registration right up until (and through) Election Day. Yet another reason to vote in the primaries, too -- it's a good marker.

These f-cks aren't murdering us in our beds, yet. They are still relying on "non-violent" legal, legislative, and procedural tricks and crimes. We're smarter. We can't "keep them honest" because they are fundamentally dishonest, but we can exercise constant vigilance.

The problem with Bevin apparently is that nobody likes the guy, so Kentucky Goopers weren't willing to go to the mat for him. It'll be a different story for Chump I'm sure.

Day 1 of the impeachment hearings only drew 13M viewers

The 13,098,000 who tuned in on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, CSPAN and PBS marks a 32 percent drop from the number of people who watched James Comey’s testimony to the Senate Intelligence Committee in May 2017, which delivered more than 19 million viewers.

In February, former Drumpf personal attorney and fixer Michael Cohen's testimony delivered 15.8 million viewers, while 13 million tuned in to see former special counsel Robert Mueller testify before the House Judiciary and Intelligence committees.

This whole article is great.

President Trump, Rudy Giuliani, and his two now-indicted cronies had thought they had struck a deal with Kyiv for political dirt.

But everything changed in a matter of days. Whatever deal the group thought they had struck fell apart with the election of President Volodymyr Zelensky, forcing Trump and Giuliani to launch a new pressure campaign to bully Kyiv anew into helping them politically.

It was then that Giuliani, his two buddies, and Trump embarked on a flurry of activity to try to convey to the newly elected Zelensky the need to announce investigations into the Bidens and into alleged Ukrainian interference in the 2016 election, eventually trying to bring to bear the full might of U.S. foreign policy to serve their partisan political goals.

The fulcrum of the scandal was the April 21 election.

Interesting argument. There's probably enough cover for the Fascist Five to CYA Dump's ample behind. It would mean unless Congress has a super-majority of the opposite party, the President becomes above law. A monarch.

It also means a future activist Democratic president could not be hamstrung by malevolent state and local officials with trumped up criminaol proceedings.

I wish somebody would just leak all the tax returns. Show he's a pauper. That might be the only thing to cause the Dumpies to lose faith in Dear Leader.
