Right but any ratings she got will be fleeting because she actually had nothing.
And I dont see how this discredits the media at all...even he said he often didnt pay taxes and used the loopholes to get out of it. All it does is put egg on Maddows face. Hell him calling it "Fake News" is makes about as much sense as his wiretapping fiasco since it is an actual copy of the taxes he himself filed
He got the news cycle to ignore Health Care for a minute so he gets a victory. It wont last. The tax return stuff wasnt even the most pressing stuff people were talking about with him, and when they were it was about where the money came from not how much there was.
Oh and of course, Trump couldnt just sit on the victory...he had to tweet about it and get egg on his face worse than Maddow did.
I think she might be on husband three or four. Grab a place in line. There still may be a chance for you yet.edie tarbox
(on local pitt news before she married mark weill and moved to nyc)
Intelligent people will see this as either a case of Trump leaking his cherry-picked returns or a nothingburger. Add it to the case file and keep up the full court press. If Trump did leak this, all he did was provide a few more previously unknown dots that can be connected to other ones.

Not sure why people are downplaying the taxes so much.
It illustrates quite well that don's intention is to give tax breaks to people who clearly don't need them. They have the means to find ways around the laws, and end up paying taxes at a rate lower than people in lower brackets, and if don gets his way, lower than some of the lowest tax brackets out there.
If you have the means to include a corporate loss on your personal income, and then carry that for many years- how is that good or fair? I'm sure if the tables were turned, there would be separation to minimize the taxes all around.
This is another illustration of policy that is very top heavy. Which will further separate us into lords and peasants.

What the hell happened 3/11? Health care?
I thought you were our resident yellow fever sufferer?
Update from the White (Supremacy) House. Sounds like a great place for "Bring your Hitler Youth to work day".
Dr. Mrs. has noticed that in staff meetings now there are two entirely different sets of discussions -- show trial ones where WH reps and flacks are present, and working meetings where they're not. The WH staff who show up to liaison meetings even with EOP departments (i.e., people ostensibly on the same team) are so unprofessional and unprepared that department heads no longer send their best people to them because (1) even if the meeting goes well it will be a complete waste of everyone's time, and (2) the behavior of Trump's lieutenants is so petulant they are worried that valuable staff might be targeted for punitive action by some rogue jackwagon Trumpie.
Evidently while the general tenor of Obama's people was polite patronizing, for Trump it's the kind of bullheaded bravado that frat boys think makes them sound strong. Staffers are specifically briefed not to laugh at them.
Here's what I meant by that. Of course this doesn't necessarily discredit her in the average person's eyes. But for those people who kind of like Trump (but aren't his core support), it just adds evidence to the case that the media is out to get him. Which, of course, we both know is their job.
Intelligent people will see this as either a case of Trump leaking his cherry-picked returns or a nothingburger. Add it to the case file and keep up the full court press. If Trump did leak this, all he did was provide a few more previously unknown dots that can be connected to other ones.
Oh it discredits HER...but media as a whole not so much. That would be like saying discrediting O'Reilly discredits the media.
I disagree. Anyone who is even close to siding with Trump for any reason isnt going to be a follower of Maddow anyways.
The people who will turn on her are the people who are liberals but they wont hold her as some example of the media. MSNBC is a less successful Faux. The only people paying attention are the people who believe it or who absolutely hate it. The middle just tunes it out.
Well, I tried to word it fairly carefully, not as a trap but to better define the people I'm talking about. Trump fans are a lost cause. I'm talking about the people who don't hate him but aren't in love with him either.
Your comment about the middle tuning it out is the problem I'm trying to focus on. Facts don't have a bias. Like Kep said above, the GOP has played a neat trick in redefining reality. This doesn't help.
