As harsh as this is, the next president can restore things like meals on wheels pretty easily. Sucks for the seniors that had to eat cat food. The NIH cuts will kill our pipeline of up and coming researchers, and cause existing researchers to massively scale back programs or drop out of basic research all together. That disruption to scientific advancement can't be undone overnight and you will see the worlds best and brightest researchers set their sights on other countries rather than come to America. It will take a long time to recover, and it could delay major advancements decades.

You can pretty much guarantee we will be left behind in green technology too thanks to the gutting of the EPA and DOE alternative energy research.

Jason Lewis (local nutjob dipstick who morons voted for) is jizzing in his pants talking about voting for Trump/RyanCare. This thing is going to be passed no problem...

And Trevor Noah is wrong...if this passes Trump still has to sign it...if he does the stink comes with it. he cant escape unless he vetoes it.

After I just got done calling out how the concept of replacing PPACA is terrible, and that the defense budget looks like he's trying to continue to endless war? Somebody's a little obsessed over identity politics. Grow a brain.

What Ryan proposed isn't don's idea, so your "protest" is pretty hollow.

Having you tell someone to "get a brain" is pretty rich. If that makes you feel better, go for it. But given the information you post, you should try it yourself. Critical thought doesn't mean you only believe what you agree with.

It's amazing how powerful gays, guns, and God are. Cause they all get Republicans elected. It's the only answer to why these morons are ever in power. It's the only explanation for Trump.

The budget is a disaster.
The immigration policy is a disaster.
Health Care is a disaster.
Wire tapping is a disaster.

He hasn't done a single thing since coming into power that isn't totally ****ed up.

For those in the coal mining/rust belt/confederate flag waving states who voted for Trump, just how is he helping them with his discretionary budget changes?

Some agencies the Trump administration wants to eliminate funding for are:
- Appalachian Regional Commission ($119 million): They focus on economic growth in 420 counties.
- Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board ($11 million): Created by the Clean Air Act of 1999, they investigates chemical accidents.
- Corporation for Public Broadcasting ($485 million): Supports public television and radio stations, including PBS.
- Delta Regional Authority ($45 million): They focus on economic development for the Mississippi Delta region.
- Legal Services Corp. ($366 million): A congressionally chartered organization to provide free civil legal advice to those who can’t afford it.
- Neighborhood Reinvestment Corp. ($175 million): They support affordable housing programs.

Oh, but we're adding $54 Billion to Defense spending, of which the increase would stand on it's own as the sixth largest defense budget in the world. Of which, ZERO dollars of that increase will be allotted to the Veterans Administration.

*edit* I was mistaken, the VA will get a six percent increase. But that is separate from the defense budget.



As a thank you to his MAGA voters, he is going to kick each and every one of them squarely in the balls and ask them if they liked it.

Two top senators said Thursday they see "no indications" that Trump Tower was surveilled “by any element of the United States government,” in one of the most definitive bipartisan rejections to date of President Trump's wiretapping allegation.

Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Richard Burr, R-N.C., and Vice Chairman Mark Warner, D-Va., issued the statement only hours after Trump told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson that he would be providing evidence of his claims “very soon.”

“Based on the information available to us, we see no indications that Trump Tower was the subject of surveillance by any element of the United States government either before or after Election Day 2016,” the statement from Burr and Warner said.

Is it a psychopath or sociopath who has no ability to feel remorse? One of those two terms would apply to the politicians who can do it day in and day out without batting an eye.

I had figured some of these elderly people would start running marathons after having a meal delivered now and then.
I hope they all burn in their version of hell, which is probably a gay club with 5000 Rosie O'Donnell's dancing around
