The 2% should be higher because (1) he's fat and unhealthy and old, and (2) he's demented and vain and cowardly. He could easily die or flee. Call it 25%. Imagine him if the polls show him 20 points down. Do you really think he's going to take his Mondale Beatdown like a man?

The President of the United States is a flight risk.

Trump just saying "Screw This!" and bailing at some point during 2020 does appear somewhat plausible :eek:

I wonder at what point the GOP figures that Dumpy will take the entire party down with him and they bail on him. Again, 99% of the people running the show are life long politicians. They know how to play the game. Do they just back Pence because he's there by default or do they put someone else forward (more likely since it may be a 70/30 split among voters if this country does put 4 working brain cells together next November).

Remember, too: not only did the GOP survive Nixon but the country completely forgot they were criminals within 4 years. The electorate is the guy in Memento if he didn't write anything down.

We will have an election. The BVPS does not have the muscle to stop it. The military is not going to burn the Constitution for this fool.

And he can do that all day long. Ukraine isnt going away and truth be told his numbers werent that great BEFORE Ukraine.

His best shot is the Dems wasting time in states they dont need to win. If he cant hold the "Screw Hillary" coalition he is in all sorts of trouble. And the trends dont look good for him.

Plenty of time for the Dems to screw it up but if Trump and his team think they can just hold rallies they are mistaken. We may not all agree on who the candidate should be but most of them are fighters and he showed the other day what he does when challenged...and Nancy Pelosi told him to get bent when he cried for forgiveness.

Yeah. You could maybe get some senators that are safe to turn on him but that is about it. They let the Zombies in and now the Zombies own the party.

Even if they did turn on him the stink aint coming off. Their fates are tied together.

But that's why we need them on the record voting not guilty on impeachment. Then hang that on them when its their turn at re-election.
