POTUS 45.58: Admit it, those lights are making you look orange too.

Chuck and Nancy offered Dump a deal on background checks. Dump is going to say no.

Biden still thinks he can work with Republicans.

Obama never wanted to take away guns. He was depriving the military of ammo!! Brilliant

Trump claims the US Military - REPEAT: THE US MILITARY - was low on ammunition before he became president. The US Military. Wait, wasn't there a shortage because Obama was hoarding it all for the military and FBI at some point?

Yay, consistency!

Re: POTUS 45.58: Admit it, those lights are making you look orange too.

(CNN)Acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire faces a deadline Tuesday to turn over a whistleblower complaint that was never alerted to the House Intelligence Committee, whose chairman says he confronted the DNI over the matter.
Maguire's office says they are reviewing the request, but House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff has said if the complaint is not turned over, he'll force the national intelligence chief to appear publicly before Congress later this week.
Schiff said on "Anderson Cooper 360" Monday night that the intelligence community inspector general's found the complaint to be "credible" and of "urgent concern," conditions that, Schiff says, require congressional notification.
The California Democrat told CNN's Anderson Cooper that he had found Maguire's answers on the matter to be "not very encouraging," noting that the newly installed acting DNI had initially answered "no" when asked if the complaint involved something the committee was investigating but was immediately corrected by his legal counsel, who said they "could not say that."

So, Trump administration blocks this entirely right?

Re: POTUS 45.58: Admit it, those lights are making you look orange too.

The White House blocked 2 former Trump aides from testifying in House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry, but cleared a third witness, Corey Lewandowski, to appear publicly on Tuesday and answer questions about potential obstruction of justice by the president.

LOL

This country is a ****ing joke.

Re: POTUS 45.58: Admit it, those lights are making you look orange too.

"This is a shocking and dangerous assertion of executive privilege and absolute immunity. The President would have us believe that he can willfully engage in criminal activity and prevent witnesses from testifying before Congress — even if they did not actually work for him or his administration.

If he were to prevail in this cover-up while the Judiciary Committee is considering whether to recommend articles of impeachment, he would upend the separation of powers as envisioned by our founders.

No one is above the law. The House Judiciary Committee will continue our investigation of the President’s crimes, corruption and cover-up and get to the truth for the American people."

— Nadler statement

Oh, Nadler. You're so cute.

Obstructing an obstruction of justice investigation is the second most Republican thing I can imagine, after putting brown children in cages.

Please put the entire party membership and constituency on a barge, tow it out to the middle of the ocean, and sink it.

Re: POTUS 45.58: Admit it, those lights are making you look orange too.

I actually kind of wonder if wagging the dog might further tank his popularity. A lot of Trump voters talk a big game about how he's trying to broker peace and is going to end the wars in the Middle East. But they will probably just make excuses and clap their sons on the back as they head over there to get their legs blown off.

Re: POTUS 45.58: Admit it, those lights are making you look orange too.

War Fever short-circuits politics for a few months. The ape brain asserts itself and blots out all intelligent thought. Have you met the average person? Think back to high school. Think of the B students. Yeah, them. And 50% are even dumber.

Any president who launched a war on any pretext one month before re-election would win in a landslide. Dump may be the first to take advantage of this.

I wonder what the going rate is for the life of an American soldier.

Re: POTUS 45.58: Admit it, those lights are making you look orange too.

Good point I'm hearing from some soldiers too: "I didn't enlist to be a ****ing mercenary. They can fight their own war."

The .01% used Iraq to steal $3T at the cost of 3k lives, so each grunt netted them $1B.

Cool.

JUST IN: Former Trump campaign chairman Corey Lewandowski's testimony before the House Judiciary Committee immediately descended into chaos, fighting among lawmakers and shouting matches as members tried to question him in their probe of possible obstruction while Lewandowski fiercely defended the president and Republicans challenged their Democratic colleagues, demanding the panel adjourn shortly after starting.
