You couldn't find a better place. Ground zero for both the Naziism of the GOP and the idiocy of Republican voters. It's a perfect place to demonstrate exactly what we are fighting and how stupid-but-dangerous it is.

A guy who claimed Charlottesville was done by actors paid by Soros thinking Trump is Jesus is actually the least surprising thing today.

Not directed at you joecct, but how many Rush/Fox/etc listeners are even going to be alive in 2029? Isn't their average age in the early 70's right now? Can't speak to the Blaze.

They were in their mid-60s 10 years ago (that article is from 2009). If that cohort is simply marching through time, without replacement, they are in their mid-70s now.

But they are replacing, of course. I see this at my work explicitly -- the sons of knucks I worked with 15 years ago are replicating that knuck behavior. This stuff gets passed down with the bloodstream.

37% of the German electorate was Nazi. 37% of the US electorate is Nazi. That's the freight cost -- it's always gonna be with us. Best we can do is give them TV and hope they suck their thumbs in the corner and not bother the adults.

Edit: here's an article from 2019: the average age is 65. That is exactly the same as in 2009. The Echo Chamber audience is not aging at all. It will always be 65.

It is the FAIL silt trap of American demographics. At any given moment Fox News will have for its audience the 65-year old white bigoted losers who can't make it in the real world and who lap up the warmth of the Fox team telling them it's the fault of immigrants, women, liberals, and intellectuals, not their own fault for being stupid, lazy, cowardly, and vicious.

70% is the least the top marginal rate should be on all income, earned and cap gains. Plus a 2% wealth tax across the board no exemptions.

the Premier of Greenland (Kim Kielsen) is considering buying the US back.

In a (clearly snarky) statement, Kielsen pointed out that Leifr “The Lucky” Eiríksson was the first European to settle America, and as a consequence Greenland has a prior claim on the country. “So it’s only natural for the Greenlandic nation to get USA back.”

Asked about the price, the prime minister said that they haven’t decided on a specific price yet, but that the vast debt of the US would be taken into consideration. And if Trump is included in the deal, then the price would be even lower.

Federal authorities say they arrested a Florida truck driver in Indianapolis just days before he planned to shoot people at a church in Memphis, Tenn.

Thomas Matthew McVicker, 38, was planning to "shoot up" a church in Memphis on Thursday, according to probable cause affidavit filed Friday in the U.S. District Court of Southern Alabama.

Before he could act on his threats, the FBI and Indiana State Police arrested McVicker in Indianapolis on Friday, said Chris Bavender, a spokeswoman for the FBI in Indianapolis.

He appeared for an initial hearing on Monday, Bavender said.

This is the latest case of men being arrested around the country after indicating they wanted to carry out a mass shooting.
