Hasn't he gotten disgusting in his waning years? I was never a big fan, but I will allow that he was reasonably objective and legally-astute back during the OJ fiasco...

Now, I truly wonder if tRump has something on him, or if perhaps dementia is setting-in.

The sad thing here is that his base doesn't benefit from his policies: he uses them as he did Stormy, but at least Stormy (presumably) got paid.

If the (so-far) clueless Dems can scrape-together a reasonable immigration policy and harp on that, they should be able to glean 5% from his base, and win in a landslide... But there's little evidence that they realize this obvious fact as of now.

Where do they find all the women to defend him (Dump)? It's amazing watching these Sunday News Programs and these women just fawning over racism like it's a new puppy.

I love Teodrose’s writing and I think he’s right here. Until or unless we reconcile our past (genocide of native Americans, slavery) and do something substantial to atone for it, the words are meaningless.

Watching the Republican strategist lie her way through the Roundtable on Snuffleupagus this morning was hilarious and maddening. These people have all their chips down on "no afterlife."

If you're talking CNN, those women they find are Republican party activists and members of Trump supporting organizations.

Just your average, everyday Republican woman.

Now Trump is demanding the four Congresswoman apologize for things they've said. Apparently, they "don't love the US as much as he does," or something.

I dunno. The GOP has played hardball using fear and anger since before Dukakis. It's what gets them to the polls.

But then I'm not too familiar with cheerleading squads, so I may be missing the point.

I think that's true, but fear hasn't motivated liberals in the recent past like it has conservatives. Dems will use a fear of trump's derangement but not of blacks, mexicans, muslims, gays, trannies, athiests, and the budget-busting poor.

Republicans have been priming their voters to be terrified of immigrants, blacks, and non-Christians for 50 years. The only thing different with Dump is he never got the memo to employ a cover story.

This is a difference in quantity, not quality. The right has run on racism and xenophobia for my entire adult life.
