Out of curiosity or perhaps to do him harm, you attend a nationally televised trump event and, due to a screwup we can only dream of, you are called up on the stage with him to bear witness. What would you say? You're only going to get in two sentences, max, before they kill your mic or put you down.

Pence just admitted that he "expected to see what he saw" on his tour.

This is not normal. I don't care if the Dems were in charge, or the current GOP who exacerbated this issue. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED. IMMEDIATELY.

If the borders aren't secure why do we have overcrowding in these detention centers? Are they filled with migrants stopped at the border or detained from various spots in the country?

His reaction is disgusting. He isn't concerned about the conditions these people are dealing with, he only cares that there are so many of them.

An immigration lawyer was talking about it and basically under Obama, the people who were detained (and keep in mind crossing the border used to be a civil infraction) generally were allowed to stay with family and then return for their court hearing. And something like 90% did in fact return for it and followed the rules. So a lot of this “crisis” is completely manufactured as is the overcrowding. They basically changed various immigration laws to make this happen.

I saw Mike Pence, Senator Lindsey Graham, and Senator Mike Lee. And I am not surprised in the slightest that this has happened and that these people believe this is normal.
