Re: POTUS 45:54: My Polls Are Better Than Your Polls

As if we haven't had whiplash reading headlines today:

Federal judge says no to legal team swap out, states 'Trump's side wanted speedy resolution, so here it is, verdict stands.'

California and Maryland have yet to weigh in with their responses to similar lawsuits filed in their states.

He desperately wants more, but all dump is trying to do now is have a pajama party with his own choir--the slackmouths in the back of the class who were left behind months ago and who need to believe his attention to them is sincere as badly as he needs theirs, sincere or not. This kind of news is not bad news to him, only a reason to ramp up the arm farts and boasting to attract more attention, good or bad. He also knows, though, that this particular class has a lot of kids who will never complete two years of high school and even more who will barely graduate, so that a teacher who is no better than good will probably not be able to gain control of them. He knows this by instinct, since he has been playing this game all his life.

Wait, what?
The team of lawyers Trump told to verify the truthfulness of the Steele Dossier were supposed to release their "it was all a sham" report very soon, but found out the dossier was more fact than fiction and are now holding off.

The Epstein Sex Dungeon story is getting wilder:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">"The defendant has refused to answer any questions about his income or assets for the Pretrial Services report, so the scope of his wealth and his assets remains entirely concealed to the government and to the court," Epstein's prosecutor, yesterday.</p>— Adam Klasfeld (@KlasfeldReports) <a href="https://twitter.com/KlasfeldReports/status/1148782797517197315?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">July 10, 2019</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

He did it smart. Separate entities, easier way to hide/launder income, and reduce liability.

Yuuuuuuuuup. It's really no surprise, but it's just going to make it all that more difficult for prosecutors to follow.

I just wonder now which bridge is too far for those close to Trump to keep covering before they need to protect themselves. It seems everything King Mango ever touched turned to sh*t.

It's the old basics of the Cosa Nostra. Car? In mom's name. House? In Dad's name. Front company? LLC, LTD, whatever. Not in his name. That's the only key. His name not on anything is the magic Get Out Card.

Same here. I'm surprised anybody is surprised.

You'd be surprised. Most people believe the wealthy people earned it all by their gumption and ingenuity. Lots of those same people are the ones pitching a fit about athletes who kneel for the anthem which I find surprising, since professional athletes are some of the last of the very wealthy out there who actually DO earn their $$$ the right way, through their efforts and expertise.

I think everyone on the east coast stole their money, people on the west coast invented something in the past 30 years, and people in the middle raped the landscape.

Honore de Balzac:

"Le secret des grandes fortunes sans cause apparente est un crime oublié, parce qu' il a été proprement fait."

In English:

"The secret of the great fortunes without apparent cause is a crime overlooked because it was properly executed."

Or the opening quote in "The Godfather", "Behind every great fortune there is a crime."

How interesting is it that every time there is the slightest blip of improvement to the bottom 50%, it's quickly followed with a sharp increase to the 1%.

Also interesting that from 2006 to 2009, right before the recession, the bottom half were able to hold onto their income for a couple years while the 1% tanked.

Kinda telling also how in the midst of the worst recession in a generation, the 1% income skyrocketed.

Just because it's illegal doesn't mean they lacked gumption and brass balls. They only had to give up all their integrity, which is generally required to become a member of the filthy rich. People forget that even Richard Branson has been to prison. Though if he were an American, he'd have skated. ;)
