This is the problem. The GOP will not change as long as people vote for them so the people who vote for them, even those holding their nose, are keeping the GOP the way it is.

The 1% who really run the GOP would find some other perfectly effective way to maintain their plutocracy without opening concentration camps or destroying the Constitution. I never vote GOP so I have no power to affect them, but those who did vote for the GOP do by withholding their vote or even better voting for the Dems to count twice. And of course they also have the power to take the party over and make it non-psychotic.

edit to add: According to a study released in March by Columbia, Princeton and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Trump’s tariffs are costing American consumers $1.4 billion per month. The researchers note that this was a conservative estimate. Another study released in March found that Trump’s tariffs cost consumers $69 billion in additional costs in 2018.

Omar has done absolutely nothing on the level of the type of deliberate misinformation propagated by Jones, Watson, et al. But you keep playing that "both sides" slippery slope argument if it makes you feel good.

Take it up with "The View" crew. They're far from conservative, but still see this is not a good thing, and see how Omar could easily be the next target.
