Yes, I noted. Ridiculous that CNN would print this tripe just so they can say they're "balanced".

If only the Trump campaign had reported all these encounters with Russians to the FBI, as the FBI had briefed them to do. Twice.

Re: POTUS 45:51 - Who is Your Daddy and What Does He do?

I'm sure you do all those things and I applaud you for it. I recommend one other thing you can do: stop being defeatist, at least publicly. There's a reason Hicks tells Hudson to shut up when he yells "Game over, man. Game over!" It's bad for morale. Don't whine, meat; it hurts the ballclub.

If we're all going to perish let's perish on our feet and not on our knees. But we're not going to perish. I am sure we're going to win. We've seen these f-cks before in history and we've beaten them, and it's the greatest thing a people can do. Mitch and Dump and their brownshirts are an asset to this country in one perverse sense: there's finally a battle worth fighting and an enemy worth defeating. We were getting soft and aimless. They are a reminder that civilization and freedom are not automatic; they have to be fought for.

So suck it up, buttercup.

The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice. MLK

Re: POTUS 45:51 - Who is Your Daddy and What Does He do?

Uh-huh.

The encounter took place south of the border fence in the area but north of the Rio Grande, the officials said.

However, the officials said the river in that area consists of brush-filled and dried-out riverbed, making it “very easy” for people to be confused as to what side of the border they are on.

One of the American soldiers spoke some Spanish and was able to explain the situation to the Mexican forces. The two sides talked the incident over and promised to de-conflict in the future, the officials said.

OMG the horror. I suppose if you're Chicken Littledick then that's the same as an invasion.

The Mexicans have learned our ways. ;) That being said, in all seriousness, the Mexicans were doing their job, and I'm glad it was diffused. I can understand the confusion in this situation.

Yes, if you want to look at it the reasonable, chemically-balanced way.

Wait, so the "border" fence isn't actually at the border? But we don't want them nasty rapist and killer Meskins on US soil, right?

Correct. There are places in Texas where the border wall is located some distance within US territory. So you can be in the US and still be "on the Mexico side" of the border wall.

Re: POTUS 45:51 - Who is Your Daddy and What Does He do?

I believe there is a golf course in TX that is on the "Mexico" side.

There is a really nice bird and wildlife sanctuary in Brownsville that is on the Mexican side of the fence. Granted, if there's one thing Trump cares about less than Mexicans, it's wildlife, but still...

What I would think you could maybe get Republicans and Libertarians interested in is the sheer amount of private property that owners could effectively lose access to. (I'm way too lazy to look up how many acres, but I'm sure it's more than 8.)

Border businesses, too. Legal day workers and such.

It's been in the news. Republicans don't care about property rights unless it's some big corporation wanting to build their new corporate office or drill a well somewhere, and need others' land to do it. The others who will lose their land? Don't care.

And not sure if its the same sanctuary, but there's some sort of butterfly sanctuary that the feds are gonna have to bulldoze to build Trump Wall(it's a magnificent wall, the greatest ever!!).

Re: POTUS 45:51 - Who is Your Daddy and What Does He do?

If the southwestern states get a wall, then Nodaks want one to keep out those dam Manitoban rapists, murderers, and checkers from behind. First and second round picks excepted.

There is a golf course in Maine/New Brunswick where the clubhouse and most of the course is in Canada and the parking lot and pro-shop is in the US. It was built so Maine golfers could drink booze during prohibition without going through customs. From an immigration and border patrol perspective it basically operates as if it’s entirely in the U.S. In 2008 they closed the nearby unmanned border crossing so now there is an access road for Canadians to access the golf course from New Brunswick, and a sign telling them to turn around at the exit of the parking lot. I think they may have reopened the border crossing as a seasonally staffed crossing though

That's a different spot, but another good example of the fact that the President of the United States is too single-minded to accept that their might be multiple valid points of view. Makes me proud to be American.
