Did you know India is a socialist country, per their constitution?

"Socialism" is so wide ranging, it isn't something that you can bandy about in a quick meme drop. I believe Kep made a post a few weeks back with much better details.

We already have "socialist" tendencies. But the left doesn't want to stop being a Republic. All that is being asked is to be good people and stop putting corporate greed ahead of personal wellbeing.

Maybe I'm over simplifying, but the left is the real party of less "globalism." The right sells you that claim while gladly investing your stolen money in offshore bank accounts that you keep whining about.

Lots to unpack here. You people have been busy while the rest of us work real jobs.

1) Its long been obvious that the best looking and brightest people go to Boston University. Look at the proof. Me. AOC. mookie. You can't argue with the evidence. I like AOC's ability to frame issues succinctly which matters especially in the Twitterverse that we live in. However, she needs to keep going up the learning curve which I expect she'll do if she's to actually get legislation enacted. Hell, she was tending bar at this time last year.

2) Its kinda creepy that Kep mentions me in like every other post, particularly the late night ones. Is Mrs. Kep on a business trip or something?

3) Too many of you are covering yourself in a blanket of perceived losing because that's comfortable to you. Call it the Scooby effect. After the 1980's the country and society has moved left on a lot of issues such as the environment, gay rights, health care, regulation, equal pay, etc etc. That's pretty good considering what was the largest cohort of voters (Boomers) are self centered aholes completely on board with the fantasyland crap the GOP has been selling. There's less and less of them as time goes on, and I'd expect govt to follow the lead of its voting pool which is also gradually becoming more liberal provide of course they show up for all elections, not just once every 8 years.
