I'd also like to remind you that it's your personal Lord and Savior Donnie who has made continued claims of wanting to remain in power beyond his term. But you're totally cool with that, because it was the black man who was going to do that, not the white guy.
But the left doesn't want to stop being a Republic.
No? Never?Trump has said nothing of the sort.
"He's now president for life. President for life. No, he's great," Trump said. "And look, he was able to do that. I think it's great. Maybe we'll have to give that a shot some day."
"Oh here's the other thing with the embassy. The new embassy, I said, When is it going to be open? They said, Anywhere from five to 10 years. So I said, Unless they give me an extension for the presidency... Which I don't think the fake news media would be too happy about."
Oh noes! A democracy! How ever will we survive as a nation?!?Then what is this all about: https://www.nationalpopularvote.com/
Looks like you're trying to change to a democracy.
Trump has said nothing of the sort. In fact, it's still you guys that won't accept the results of 2016. You wanted two years of investigation and a treasonous coup. And when that didn't go your way, you want to go after the investigators. You won't be satisfied until you hear the result you want to hear.
The problem with government today. Or, as The Rube would say, a great, rational thinking policymaker.

Marxism is 170 years old. It's almost as obsolete as capitalism. The economic solutions our grandchildren will invent won't have anything to do with either of those expired philosophies.
Look -- see how irrelevant the thinking of somebody like Dump is. Not so much evil or wrong, but just utterly oblivious to problems today. And that's a guy who is only stuck in 1968. Imagine how much less guys stuck in 1848 or 1778 have to say to our descendants.
Capitalism was a revolt against monstrous feudal powers. Marxism was a revolt against monstrous industrial powers. Both of those monsters have been vanquished because, in their time, each of those philosophies did its job.
But now the enemy of humanity is monstrous financial powers, and the next great liberation will be from a dimension we aren't even thinking in, a direction we don't know exists, a place that isn't on our maps.

For the record, I like the Electoral College. Eliminating the electoral college would be like MLB adopting the DH in both leagues.

There's nothing wrong with AOC dragging the Overton Window slowly back to the left (and thereby, the true center, not the country club patricianism of the American center). It couldn't have gone much further right without making a straight-arm salute acceptable again.
When you've spent 40 years losing the war, it's probably time to drop some d@mn bombs.

No. Eliminating the electoral college will be like MLB breaking the color line.
Not everything established is sacred.
