Right after a guy got arrested for death threats against her.

Re: POTUS 45:51 - Who is Your Daddy and What Does He do?

SOME criticism of Omar is justified. SOME. The violence/death threats/etc is not ok. Not even close to ok. I hope they prosecute every one of those people for threats and such. It's horrible.

Edit: and the NY Post is sh*. As usual.

Re: POTUS 45:51 - Who is Your Daddy and What Does He do?

The NY Post is the real libel, and should be sued for it in the event it ever comes to serious threats. They are a tabloid.

Leave the irrelevant b.s. about, "some of it is.." out of it and simply outright call out the death threats. When you couch your criticisms they come off as hollow.

Re: POTUS 45:51 - Who is Your Daddy and What Does He do?

Per the NYT:

“President Trump urged an official to close the southern border, despite having just said that he wouldn’t take the step for a year.”

Wow, the thought processes of the leftists on here really IS one-dimensional. No wonder you get so easily distracted by MSM.

The one year, along with tariffs, was to stoke a general improvement (drug cartels and so forth). When there's an immediate threat to the country, consider closing it immediately.

BTW I recommend watching Omar on Colbert. She was very good. I only wish somebody on the right was as thoughtful and intelligent.

Some criticism is justified about her remarks. There's nothing irrelevant about it. She needed to choose her phrasing differently. Unfortunately, there are folks out there that have majorly over-reacted (including the NY Post), and that's just not right, and I don't like it one bit.

Re: POTUS 45:51 - Who is Your Daddy and What Does He do?

It's kind of sad that so few people seem to mind that dumpy has basically instructed DHS to break the law.

That fact as been posted a few times, with so few responses. Very disappointing.

It can be expected for the people that pretend to be "law and order" and "family value" when all they really want to do is squash people who don't look like them. And it also clarifies some of the posters who pretend to care about the Constitution.

But for others, you can't get tired so much that a sitting president telling his administration to break the law, and he will pardon them- that's pretty sad.

Still- for the many water carriers- the fact that you don't care about the clear instruction to break the law and get away with it... wow. Once again don't come whining when you see some kind of threat of breaking the law. And you have less than zero standing to complain about Secretary Clinton's alleged breaking of the law (which has never once been clearly demonstrated of a chargeable law. This is an actual instruction with forgiveness to break a written law, whether you agree with the law or not, that's incredibly wrong. And given some posting history, you should be very angry about it.

All in all, it's nice to know that one can totally ignore your opinions of various points you try to take.

Re: POTUS 45:51 - Who is Your Daddy and What Does He do?

Drew just last night brought up Hillary again so yes, you are right. They don’t care about law and order

Some criticism is justified but that is 100% irrelevant to the death threats made against her. Again when you couch calling out the death threats by saying, "some criticism is justified" you unintentionally lend credence to the death threats.

Unintentionally? Please.

No, I don't. Threat of violence is a form of criticism, and it's a form of criticism I abhor.

Re: POTUS 45:51 - Who is Your Daddy and What Does He do?

Criminal threatening is a crime.

Agreed. Those who have threatened Omar with violence should be prosecuted. However, to say that genuine verbal non-violent criticism is approving or allowing violent threats/etc is bullsh*.

It's unintentional but you in fact do exactly that when you preface the criticism with, "but but but". It's like saying, "With all due respect sir..." only to proceed calling them a c**t.

That's quite a leap you've made.

"I think she should have used different words."
"I am going to cause physical violence against her, possibly kill her."

Yeah, those are in the same ballpark. To quote Jules, it ain't even the same *in' sport.
