Still, he may be worse than everyone- but the SCOTUS- those will be longer term appointments.

And if the economists are close, and the indicators we are seeing are correct, we will likely have a recession late this year or early next year. Which really ties the hands of what the Fed can do. At some point, his cronies will be losing so much money that they will be forced to make changes to keep the situation reasonably good.

If that recession happens, noting the feeble middle class recovery from the last one plus the huge recovery from the top- the election next fall takes on a whole new look.

Also it details how he handles the same situations differently if it’s a D president vs R, discussed how he wanted the tax cuts to kill “unions, Dems, universities and blue states”

The new LED lighting is miles ahead of where the CFL bulbs were, and I'm so glad there was a push for it.

They've already killed 3 of the 4- Unions are weak, Dems are socialists, and universities cost so much that people have mortgages to pay. But if they kill the blue states, they also kill the largest concentration of the hyper rich in New York and California. Doing that will be interesting.

Also, it would be within the POTUS's agenda to replace the Fed leader if the policies were night and day different. So this guy may only get just under 2 years to be on the board.

Amen. I love the LEDs in my house. I only buy LEDs anymore. The only one I have to figure out is the fluorescent tube fixture in the laundry room. Might need to replace that with a couple of simple standard fixtures.

Wouldn’t it be interesting (but ultimately predictable) if ultra low taxes made the rich move out of the country instead of ultra high?

I wish too that people would remember the rich are fungibles. They, personally, don't matter -- only their money does. When we talk about the "investor class" we're talking about dollars. The human holding those dollars is arbitrary from the POV of the economy, and indeed a more equal distribution of those dollars makes for a far better economy (as well as little things like the quality of life of most citizens).

Same here. They're a better technology: incandescents might as well be candles.

100% agree. The LEDs in my house actually put out a better quality and color of light than the old incandescents that burned out.

And if you want candles that just put out light, there are several very nice LED candles out there ;)

If it's a fixture with 4' fluorescent tubes, you can get LED retrofit bulbs for them, or you can replace the whole fixture with a similar form-factor LED fixture (without replaceable bulbs)
