The former is only a problem with the agent provocateurs that Koch et al seed Kos with to concern troll and divide Democrats. Most of us don't even take that bait any more.

The latter is silly: Perez is smart, DWS was stupid; Perez is independent, DWS was a shill. It's not repeating any mistake, it's turning 180 degrees.

The social liberalism stuff is coastal moonbatty. The Bernie economic liberalism is where Middle America's at.

When Socialism comes to America it will be wrapped in a Nordic quilt and carrying a John Deere hat.

If that's how Bernie supporters feel, then they need to grow the **** up real fast. The establishment democrats deserve as much blame as the Bernie supporters who took their ball home and didn't vote.

If they think the dems don't care about them, they need to stop tuning their mouths for ten minutes, put down their signs, and take a moment to listen.

Ellison would have resigned and I 100% believe he would have devoted his every waking hour to the party. I feel the same way about Perez.

Kep - except Bernie and his message were shunted aside by the DNC establishment. I'd be happy with 2 parties just a bit right and left of center. Right now, we have too many in extremis.

None of us believe that. It's all nonsense being spewed by the right that a few mainstreamers on Kos fall for.

It bothers me that my conservative friends won't recognize that Trump is doing more damage to conservatism than Democrats could (or would) do in 50 years. In one light, the bizzarity of the Trump presidency can be seen as the violent death throe of a schizophrenic ideology.

Mitch isn't a voice on the right. I'm talking about Cruz, Pence, Gohmert, King (either one), Brownback, and dozens of others. We have nobody close to them. They are 6 standard deviations from the center.

And that's not to mention Trump, who, while not "conservative," is spewing fascist hate.

There is no comparison right now. The GOP is septic.
