They obviously think they can get him reelected. Or, it's just about all the Judges and appointments Turtle Boy is going to get through the next two years.

So let me get this straight:

You think the richest man in the world who owns one of the most politically incisive newspapers--one known for decades for kicking the political hornet's nest--and who takes it personally that one of his journalists was farking murdered by the Saudis, and who is currently going through a divorce with nothing to lose personally, is someone who cares about hiding dick pics?

And your plan is to blackmail this person?

Also, Bezos has the status where he has no more fuks to give.

Other people in the past that the Enquirer has played this game with didn't have that luxury. They had to be concerned over losing their livelihood, their whole career.

The odd thing about that- if the NE was careful, there would be no evidence of POTUS getting involved, even if he did. The fact that they thought they were bringing big heat, especially SPECIFICALLY telling him to end the investigation makes one ask a lot of questions....

Not the kind of questions sic would ask, but ones that make you think that there's real evidence that the POTUS has gotten involved. Lest we forget, blackmail is a crime. So if Bezos can prove it, that should bring down the president- he would have been breaking a federal law while pretending to be president.

There is that. But even Nixon hit a tipping point... So there's still a possibility.

At a bare minimum, all of this will totally make the executive ineffective. The House will have no reason to consider what he wants, as they will impeach him. The Senate will be strung by what the House does. And at some point, the odds of getting enough votes to override a veto an keep the government running will happen. Even if the Senate does not finish the job.

Even after divorce Bezos can blow a billion dollars looking into all of this and not even wince. Trump may have made an epic mistake...and not the kind he usually makes where his lack of intellect just ruins everything either. This is a massive tactical mistake.

So Morning Joe is reporting ties between the Bezos blackmail and Saudi Arabia. Hmmm.... Remember, the Saudi Prince is alleged to assassinate a Washington Post reporter, and the WaPo is owned by Bezos.

Another very good, sic like, open question- if the NE was willing to attempt to black mail Bezos, WHO ELSE have they gotten? Especially elected officials.

Lest we forget, NE has been doing stuff for dumpy.... admittedly. They cut a deal with Mueller about that. And here we go, them going back out and blackmailing people.

The next few days are going to be interesting, seeing what the WaPo finds.
