Re: POTUS 45.44: "That's Not Law" said Trump

I was thinking about this more tonight. So, you mean to tell me that Robert Mueller. One of the 13 Angry Democrats. Was able to get Michael Cohen (after he already got him on something else) on the charge of LYING TO CONGRESS and that lying was a direct benefit to Donald J. Trump.

Yet. After 10 hours of testimony under oath in front of Congress. The greatest prosecutorial mind of our generation, Trey Gowdy, was not able to get Hillary Clinton on the same thing?

AYFKM????????????

How much have his golf outings cost us?

14 trips in 2018 to Mar A Lago. At anywhere from $1 mil to $6 mil a trip. Take $3 mil as the average (that seemed to be Obama's cost too thanks to Google) and you're at $42 mil.

But, he hasn't *just* gone to Mar A Lago. Let's take a look at all his trips this year: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_presidential_trips_made_by_Donald_Trump_during_2018

One visit to: Arizona, Guam, Hawaii, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, New Hampshire and South Dakota.
Two visits to: California, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Dakota, South Carolina and Wisconsin.
Three visits to: Georgia, Nevada and Texas.
Four visits to: Montana, New York, North Carolina and Tennessee.
Five visits to: Indiana and Missouri
Six visits to: West Virginia
Seven visits to: Maryland, Ohio and Pennsylvania
Eight visits to: New Jersey
Fourteen visits to: Florida
Twenty five visits to: Virginia

128 trips away from the White House (Not including the international trips).

128 x $3 = $384 mil.

Or three F-35's.

(including his 100 trips in 2017, he's up to 218 trips and at $3 mil a trip = $654 mil.)

Huh. Trump no longer "Leader of the Free World." Could Trump be nearing the end of his usefulness?

It's just Putin trolling the US, and simultaneously thumping his chest for Russians on their equivalent of Faux News. I wouldn't read too far into it.

LOL again

“BREAKING: The Trump Organization reportedly planned to give a $50 million penthouse in the planned Trump Tower Moscow to President Vladimir Putin during the 2016 presidential campaign.”

Our wonderful liberal media. How come we weren't hearing about this and all the other Russia stuff before and during the campaign?

The Russian funding of the NRA for example.

Somebody brought up a good point, which was what exactly does Mueller have on these people to get them to flip so quickly?

Hillary warned about his ties to Russia multiple times in campaign events and the debates. No one listened

Yeah, but when someone replies with "No puppet. No puppet. You're the puppet!" how can you not be won over and vote for him?

Like anyone was even listening to her. Half the country had tuned her out before she even ran for President the first time.

We bailed out GM and what do they do? They use all their profits and tax windfalls on stock buybacks for their shareholders.

We should have let them die.

I think this says two things 1) GM has a terrible enough business model that it not only can't find ways to invest any money in its business...its shrinking its business to conserve cash 2) enormous tax cuts for business are not needed as few business models are great enough to reinvest the amount of cash they're given...yet the tax cuts still balloon the debt.

And we are paying for it. Likely will be for a long time after he's gone too.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...to-have-misled-ftc-over-actions-at-miami-firm

New documents released by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission suggest that acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker misled the agency’s investigators as he was stepping into his role last year as Justice Department chief of staff.

After several attempts to reach Whitaker about the Miami company where he was on the advisory board, the FTC investigator emailed his colleagues to relay that he finally reached Whitaker, who was willing to cooperate and asserted that he “never emailed or wrote to consumers” in his consulting role.

That statement to James Evans of the FTC appears to be inaccurate. Whitaker had written a letter in 2015 to a disgruntled customer who planned to report the company, World Patent Marketing, to the Better Business Bureau. In the letter, which was included in the FTC’s disclosure and reported previously by the news media, Whitaker threatened the customer, writing: “I am assuming you understand there could be serious civil and criminal consequences for you if that is in fact what you and your ‘group’ are doing.”
