It's not. Trumpers may be complete arsehats (and they are, IMO), but I don't see bombs being sent out every day, nor lynchings every day, nor levels of this violence every day. This guy is the rare occurrence where he put actions to his words.

To say that any Trumper is willing to commit acts like this is plain ignorance. Sometimes, it's NOT about Trump.

Brent is right. There is a small percentage already prone to violence, who may be encouraged to act upon their impulses. However, that doesn't excuse Trump and Republicans from inciting them with some of their rhetoric. And in a country of 300 million, that small percentage is still potentially pretty big.

And the difference is the GOP used to only tacitly court these people (it isnt like McVeigh and his ilk were big fans of say George Bush) but now they embolden them and mainstream them.

Trump is not to blame for this, but his rhetoric is definitely one of the causes. This guy might have done this anyways, but he went after these targets for a reason and that was their attacks on his Fuhrer.

The individual is solely responsible for his acts and should be held responsible. Trump is not "responsible" for this particular person's acts, but he is responsible for the way in which he leads and how he shapes the culture. His pitchfork mob approach to politics may be effective with his base, but it is not without consequences. He is leading, but in a direction that is dangerous, and this is one example.
