Misogyny is alive and well.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">.<a href="https://twitter.com/OrrinHatch?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@OrrinHatch</a> says <a href="https://twitter.com/HillaryClinton?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@HillaryClinton</a> would have gotten away with more than Trump: “I think if she became president I think she’d get away with a lot more because she’d be the first woman president and people would bend over backwards to help her, I’m sure I would be one of them" !</p>— Andrea Mitchell (@mitchellreports) <a href="https://twitter.com/mitchellreports/status/1034568893493334016?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">August 28, 2018</a></blockquote>

It's good that today we can all know that racism and sexism is dead.

Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

He even lies to get other people to break the law.

In a closed-door meeting with evangelical leaders Monday night, President Trump repeated his debunked claim that he had gotten “rid of” a law forbidding churches and charitable organizations from endorsing political candidates, according to recorded excerpts reviewed by NBC News.

In fact, the law remains on the books, after efforts to kill it in Congress last year failed.

Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

He keeps saying that if he loses then the Dems will overturn things "violently". If the Dems have the power they dont need to use violence to overturn things. You use violence when you DONT have the power to do so.

If Evangelicals are so stupid as to believe this crap, or anyone for hat matter, they need to go back to school. That is 3rd grade level stupidity right there.

Oh, they believe it. They finally hit paydirt with Trump. They'll believe anything he says.

Good...it will be so much sweeter when they go down hard. Eve better when all their skeletons come out of the closet. No one bends over backwards to support the exact opposite of what you stand for if they dont have something to hide.

Legal, US born, Americans now being targeted for revocation/denial of Passports and potential deportation.

And before one of you co**sucking "whataboutism" Trumpeters bellow "But GW and Obama both did it too!" It's mentioned in the story, and it's mentioned that it found more false positives than it was worth prosecuting. So they slowed significantly this widespread action in 2009.

Good move. They're brown.

Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

Suitable for framing.
I guess there isn't a conspiracy as someone is still able to find this stuff on the inter-tubes and post it like it is for real. I get believing some of the stuff that is a bit off from the mainstream narrative. I really don't understand how anyone would believe that site. You would really have to be dumber than a box of hammers to take this stuff seriously.

Saw Lindsay Graham be interviewed about the firing of the WH counsel. First he made a point of saying the WH counsel had done a great job in adversity. Then he commented that tRump better be sure to hire someone who understood the legal ins and outs of Congress because after November tRump is going to be hit with a slew of subpoenas. He was going to need someone who could navigate the Hill to deal with that. Again made a comment that the fired WH Counsel was doing a good job and it would be hard to replace him with someone who was as skilled.

I guess he believes the Blue wave is going to happen. Have to say I was a bit surprised. He wasn't talking about it like it was something they should be trying to stave off. He was talking about it like a done deal and then implied that tRump was going to be in big trouble because he was unlikely to pick someone who would be able to help him through what was coming. Yikes. That2 days in a row where I have heard staunch GOP people pretty much say the guy is an idiot without trying to sugar coat it.

Of course Graham changes stories like most people change undies but that he said it on camera gave me pause

Trump is doubling down on his Google "bias" by Tweeting out a video that shows how Google never promoted his speech to the joint session of Congress (which is NOT a State of the Union address).

Google, forced to reply to the lies, stated that they never have promoted the joint session, and only promoted the SOTU on its homepage. They did NOT have a doodle/promotion for Obama's joint session in 2009.

He did a great job. His job was to make sure that the President's conflicts of interest were not investigated by the Congress.

Yep, that's the Tweet I posted last night. Apparently it goes back to the mid-wives used along that region (because cost of hospitals are expensive and even travelling to one is a haul). Some of the Midwives were caught documenting Mexican born children as Texas born allowing them to get Texas Birth Certificates.

The issue was found during the GW era, and bled into Obama's first term. Lawsuits stemming from the false positives caught by this lead to the issue being dropped.

Trump's administration seems to have felt the need to revive this.

The one article I saw said even retired US veterans from that region have even been harassed and denied passports or scheduled for deportation hearings just because they were midwife births.

One gentleman upon trying to renew his passport, was told by the State Department that to verify he truely was a citizen, he needed to provide hospital records of his birth, home/rental agreements from the time of his birth, or any other supporting documentation that his family was in the US when he was born.
