Re: POTUS 45.4 - What's a Battle?

You are a fan of incest?!?!?

BTW we should do a betting pool on who is fired next by King Urea. My money is on Kellyanne but Priebus is not far behind!

I'm just saying she's a good thing he did.

Conway's gonna be lucky to winds up outside of jail. She'll go before Reince -- he's Mr. Inside to keep the RNC informed on the crazy from up close.

you're right. No one ever falls through the cracks.

Read the article. People with mental illness are less violent than 'normal people.' You're letting your hatred for guns and gun owners cloud your good judgment on this one. I say that with all due respect.

Holy **** look at that precipitous drop.

Thing is, he's essentially at 9% approval, since 29% of the public would approve of Tim McVeigh if he had an R after his name. There's just not much farther to fall.

Correct. They have a locked in number. That's something the Dems do not have.

Shortly after the 2014 midterms, federal policymakers were facing a funding deadline and a possible government shutdown. Some on the far-right believed President Obama was so weakened by the election results that GOP lawmakers should push him to accept conservative demands.

Rush Limbaugh told Fox News’ Chris Wallace at the time, “]T]he Republicans are running around like a fool saying the American people are not going to like them if they shut down the government is absurd. Barack Obama’s approval is in the 30s.”

Re: POTUS 45.4 - What's a Battle?

From Elizabeth Warren's Facebook. I expect the CFPB to be eliminated in a few weeks.

Earlier this week, Senator Ted Cruz and several of his Republican colleagues introduced a bill to eliminate the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. This comes on the heels of Jeb Hensarling – the Republican Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee – penning an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal last week calling the CFPB a form of “tyranny” that has “eroded freedom” and “must go.”

When these Republicans rant and rave about the CFPB, I wonder if they have ever talked to anyone about the agency other than the big bank lobbyists that drop by their offices and fill their campaign coffers. I wonder, for instance, if they’ve talked to some of the servicemembers who have benefitted from the agency’s efforts to crack down on financial scams targeting members of the military and to provide financial education to servicemembers looking to make smart decisions for themselves and their families.

Senator Jack Reed – the top Democrat on the Senate Armed Services Committee – recently asked the senior enlisted advisor from each military service for their thoughts about the CFPB, and each of them praised the agency for the work it has done on behalf of the servicemembers they represent. Take a look at the video. Good luck to Senator Cruz, Congressman Hensarling, or anyone else who tries to tell any of these brave men, to their faces, that the CFPB should be eliminated.

I'm a self-hating gun owner? Who grew up shooting guns from age 7 or 8? Who comes from a family of hunters? Who's an avid trap and sporting clays shooter?

You got me there...

I would still back him over the alternative today despite all the hysteria.

Wow! *** is wrong with you? **** the environment. **** education **** civil rights! **** our allies. As long as mentally ill can get guns Drew is happy.

You truly are deplorable.

Re: POTUS 45.4 - What's a Battle?

There are a huge number of people who are either ignorant of or indifferent to destruction of publicly shared goods (environment, economy, education, health) as long as the private fortunes of the top few continue to grow.

Our country is run for the benefit of the rich few who bribe our government. It is that simple. We are no longer a democratic republic.

We've been over this already. The gun worshipers think anyone who isn't a card-carrying, cliche-spouting NRA member is the enemy of free-dumb.

Maybe you hate people with mental illness? I implore you to read the actual article. This was bad legislation which was correctly overturned.

Stress Conference. :D

EDIT: OH MY GOD. That was one of the best punchlines ever.
