My guess is much like Mcghan Cohen figured he was gonna be left out to dry and as soon as he saw that McGhan was cooperating he didn't want to be the one left without a life preserver as the Titanic sinks.

I personally know 3 different people, all brilliant (were working on cutting edge research) that have left the country to pursue their career in places they deem more 'friendly' and 'committed'. They would have preferred to stay but to move forward they needed to go where the money and commitment was and they were poached by companies in other countries (UK, Canada, France).

They're moving to renewables, but have they retired their fossil/nuclear sources? Um, no.

They (Germany, France) are still covering baseline load with traditional sources. Why? Although the renewables are coming on strong, ... storage.


When I say storage, I'm not talking charging your Tesla vehicle. I'm talking storage of the output of a hundreds of MW wind farm or of a GW solar farm when it is producing more than the active need.

Not sure if you saw...numbers show that wind+storage power in current implementations is cheaper than existing coal. That should help answer your question.

Cohen said one payment, for $150,000, was made during "summer of 2016, in coordination and at the direction of a candidate for federal office."

The second payment, for $130,000, was made around "October of 2016, at the direction of the same candidate."

Cohen's statements also stand out because the documents outlining his plea deal do not appear to offer any examples or evidence of Trump himself directing Cohen to do anything.

So Cohen makes that public claim, but the prosecutor doesn't include that in the plea deal to get it on the record?

From what I am hearing we will not be hearing anything about the cooperation against Trump part. Just the plea deal is public. Not the cooperation agreement.

Sic just finished telling you they are both nothing.

Don't forget for Manafort that was just the trial related to tax evasion, coming soon to a theater near you is a whole new trial related to money laundering and working as an unregistered foreign agent.

Cohen won't say anything concrete until Mueller makes guarantees.
