But once again, the "hate" for dumpets are focused at very specific people for very specific ideas and policies.

The hate from R's is just about who you are, and the fear that people like dump make you think.

They are NOT the same thing. Not even remotely close.

No, I think what is shows is Trump hates the right people, and Clinton (deplorables) did not. If you hate the right people you get a pass on your rhetoric. If you hate Aunt Milly because she hates those immigrants from those A-rab countries, and those Mexican countries you're a bridge too far.

It's so friggin' stupid though.

Trump at his rallies, has actually told people in the crowd to beat up protesters. It's not people on the left talking about arming themselves up to get ready for the upcoming civil war.

Waters didn't even advocate for violence, just to rally up, get a crowd together, and protest these people so they feel uncomfortable.

But somehow, the Left is the violent side.

I mean Christ, the Wapo wrote an opinion piece decrying the lack of civility and actually wrote this

How hard is it to imagine, for example, people who strongly believe that abortion is murder deciding that judges or other officials who protect abortion rights should not be able to live peaceably with their families?

I mean, cause no abortion doctors have been killed by anti-abortion fanatics, and people don't have to brave raging lines of demonstrators just to vsit a health clinic, getting called "Murderer" and "babykiller" the whole time? No, that stuff never happens.

And they somehow have the mental fortitude to call the left snowflakes and too politically correct.

They've never heard- if you can't take it, don't dish it out. Sad.

Guess we need to work on being passive aggressive, but I think dumpies are too stupid to get it.

No, we need to listen to them, and understand where they're coming from, why they feel the way they do, what they need. How else are they ever gonna vote for us?

All the kids of my co-workers dream of buying Harleys someday.

It is pretty sad though that the "rebel" emblem can now only be afforded by 50-year old doctors and lawyers.

The NYT and the WaPo (along with CNN, which also published an opinion piece urging anti-Trumpers to resist stooping to his level) are NOT stating that Trump supporters or people on the right never engage in incivilities. In fact, each of those organizations acknowledge that Donald Trump and many of his supporters are extremely uncivil.

What those commentators are urging is that people who oppose Trump and his policies resist the very strong urge to engage in like-minded tactics.

No, what they're encouraging is that they refrain from employing those tactics on white people. Keep it to the African Americans, Muslims, and brown people from Mexico and Latin America.

My neighbor, who is a bit of a motorcycle snob (but very much a motorcycle enthusiast) likes to say, "What do Harleys and your dog have in common? They both like to ride in the back of your pick up truck."

To be fair, Dumpies are fine with beating up white college students and Jews, too. And that doesn't count smashing your own female relatives in the mouth if they act up.

Still fits the theme. The people who don't get beat up are the white people who hate the right people. Hate the wrong people and you're toast.

Come the revolution we'll all have our heads on pikes. I can't say I'll argue much.

The gatekeepers should never have let up, and we did that. The Road to Dumpdom begins in 1969 with Open Admissions at CUNY.

If we get another chance to save the Republic, hopefully we'll mix in a healthy dose of elitism. Democracy is hard. Not everyone is up for it.
