I haven't looked recently, but I think they're still about 10 large cheaper than Harleys.

I'm not really a motorcycle guy, but if I were to get into it, and had the cash, I'd buy a Scout in a heartbeat.

Let's give them credit. When they do repeal the 14th amendment it won't be white vs black, it will be rich vs poor. It will be the Ancien Regime, with a hanging offense if a poor man insults a rich man, and a small fine if a rich man murders a poor man or rapes a poor woman.

Any of you read A Higher Loyalty, James Comey's new book? Just finished it and wondering what your thoughts are.

From the Epilogue:

Donald Trump's presidency threatens much of what is good in this nation. We all bear responsibility for the deeply flawed choices put before the voters during the 2016 election, and our country is paying a high price: this president is unethical, and untethered to truth and institutional values. His leadership is transactional, ego driven, and about personal loyalty.

. . .

Whatever your politics, it is wrong to dismiss the damage to the norms and traditions that have guided the presidency and our public life for decades or, in many cases, since the republic was founded. It is also wrong to stand idly by, or worse, to stay silent when you know better, while a president brazenly seeks to undermine public confidence in law enforcement institutions that were established to keep our leaders in check.

The book is predictably Comey's effort to explain himself, but it's fairly informative and worth the short time it takes to read it, IMO.

No thanks...Comey is as much responsible for this mess as anyone. I wont give him dime one to read his "look at what I had to deal with" because what America is dealing with because of his idiocy (pardon the pun) trumps that.

Indian, owned by Polaris, has been gaining market share on Harley Davidson over that past few years. The prices may be comparable, but the big difference tends to be delivery. Harley often has quite the lead time to take delivery.

Truer words have never been spoken. BOTH sides do this. The left hates the (true) deplorables. But it's okay, because you're hating on the correct people that need to be hated on.


That being said, protest, ridicule, denounce all you want, to whatever you want, just don't intrude on people's personal lives. If they are out to dinner with their family, don't bug them. Now, this is a BIG, HUGE NOTICE: What that restaurant did to Sarah is PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE. They notified her in a calm, polite, manner, they would not serve her because of reasons. That is A-OK.

I wouldn't be okay if a bunch of patrons harassed her into leaving. Nor would I be okay if a bunch of patrons harassed Ms Clinton into leaving a restaurant. Leave it on the ice, so to speak.

Again, lets be clear here- the left hates the deplorables because of their idea of superiority, because of their proposed policies, and what they want to do. NOT because of who they are or where they come from. If they changed their minds, the hate would completely go away.

Where as the deplorables hate people due to where they come from and the color of their skin. Otherwise, we would not have a president calling immigrants criminals. Or we would not be so fearful of helping people who really need help in other parts of the world. Or that we would not constantly have to review why people of color are being incarcerated and shot at a MUCH higher rate than whites. Their hate is for people, not for ideas. Which is MUCH harder to get over.

So I really wish we can get over the idea that the hate is equal, as they are not. The hate may be the same right now, but if enough people back off their ideas, much of the hate from one side will go down a lot. Whereas you can't change the color of your skin, or where you are from, or what god you worship.
