Re: POTUS: 45.37: The Earth is Flat and the Babies Are Crying

If a large portion of a company's cliental are also Trump supporters, him badmouthing that company can have the effect of putting it out of business without hitting it with specific taxes and fees. While this would normally be unprecedented and outside of the norms of behavior for a President, that ship sailed with Chump on day 1.

And what he's doing is specifically against the law.

5 C.F.R. § 2635.702 (see Subpart G - Misuse of Position; Use of Public Office for Private Gain)
An employee may not use his public office for his own private gain or for that of persons or organizations with which he is associated personally. An employee’s position or title should not be used to coerce; to endorse any product, service or enterprise; or to give the appearance of governmental sanction.

Re: POTUS: 45.37: The Earth is Flat and the Babies Are Crying

Yes. They would go out of business if the Trump supporters started not buying their product. Good.

Which only works if they can afford things in the first place. The "Everyone go smash your Keurigs" comes to mind when half of the Orcs drink Busch for breakfast.

This is the new America. We are no longer "the melting pot". We are xenophobes.

Tear the ****ing statue down.

Do we really need to wait for these guys to start using phrases like "final solution" before the "moderates" start to get it?

Even then we need to understand both sides. I'm sure they have a good reasoning behind that plan. Let's hear them out. Just ignore the aluminum cans of Cyanosil on that truck over there.

Why are you quoting a year old tweet that was discussed ad nauseam a year ago?

Why are you quoting a year old tweet that was discussed ad nauseam a year ago?

Washington (CNN)Rep. Steve King doubled down Monday on comments he made over the weekend in which he appeared to criticize foreigners and immigrants, drawing complaints of insensitivity on social media and from some of his Hill colleagues including from within his own party.
King, a prominent Iowa Republican and a vocal advocate against illegal immigration, tweeted Sunday, "We can't restore our civilization with somebody else's babies."
Asked by CNN's Chris Cuomo on "New Day" to clarify his comments, King said he "meant exactly what I said."

"You cannot rebuild your civilization with somebody else's babies. You've got to keep your birth rate up, and that you need to teach your children your values," King said, paraphrasing remarks he said he's delivered to audiences in Europe. "In doing so, you can grow your population, you can strengthen your culture, and you can strengthen your way of life."

That's why.

Re: POTUS: 45.37: The Earth is Flat and the Babies Are Crying

Agreed. Now, who's going to enforce the law on him?

Ummmm, Republicans who have made "rule of law" one of their mainstay talking points since the days of Clinton?

Nah.

Re: POTUS: 45.37: The Earth is Flat and the Babies Are Crying

Who does he mean by "your" and "our"?

He needs to clarify that.

Re: POTUS: 45.37: The Earth is Flat and the Babies Are Crying

Read this on Facebook today. These are facebook responses to the Maxine Waters story. Most of the responses are in support of Trump and Dems saying they won't vote for the Democratic Party anymore.

If Trump hadn't been voted in, we'd have never known how whacked out the left has become. Notice they didn't say 'Republicans' are on open season 'Trump Supporters' are the enemy, so even if you strayed from the Dem plantation they want your head on a pike.

you are wrong. I am a democrat and I will NOT vote for a democrat...and ever democrat I know feels the same way. We are leaving the party by the millions.
The Democrat Party has become the party of violence and hate and intimidation....it’s alarming and frightening.

Welcome to the club. I decided back in the late 90s that I would never vote for another Dem ever again. I have kept that promise; I could see the signs of unhinging even back then.

And this is some of the stuff I have been posting about for the last year. Democrats will destroy themselves at the sight of any indiscretion. Republicans, meanwhile, will never waver. It's a massive hill to climb.

Republicans brag about them bullying. There's no shame of being a jerk.

Democrats are more likely to be insightful and be ashamed of what their party might do wrong.

As I see it. Otherwise, we would not have Sanders asking for civility only to have her boss stoke his side's fires just a few hours later in South Carolina.

But once again, the "hate" for dumpets are focused at very specific people for very specific ideas and policies.

The hate from R's is just about who you are, and the fear that people like dump make you think.

They are NOT the same thing. Not even remotely close.

If you think they are the same thing, please explain why.

Some of the people claiming to never vote dem again never voted dem in the first place, or at least in decades. I know a guy who trolls (well, trolled, I think he finally got banned) twitter spouting stuff like that any chance he can. He hasn't voted blue since at least the 80s but always makes it sound like Obama/Hillary/Bernie drove him away.
