Un. F#$%ing. Real.

So they're going to deport American Citizens* because they *think* they shouldn't be?

*Those immigrants who successfully jumped through every hoop put before them prior and became citizens

Re: POTUS: 45.37: The Earth is Flat and the Babies Are Crying

You really are stupid, aren't you? By law, asylum seekers have to be allowed in, and their case for asylum heard, and then judged on its merits. Only then, if not approved, are they designated to be sent back.

Except, this administration is not allowing them to enter through the designated ports of entry(again, the ones DHS secretary said they needed to go to if they wanted in), and then, while passing the initial steps for getting asylum, or waiting to hear the results, being forced to sign papers agreeing to leave, either with or without their children.

Sure, you want a legal process for immigration? Then follow it. That means both sides.

And naturally you're completely neglecting the time between the request and the hearing, which is exactly what is being argued. During that time, those requesting have to stay somewhere. But they can't just be let into the country free, otherwise they're never going to show up for the hearing. Claiming to hide from a government is a good reason that they're going to hide from ours, and therefore deny any semblance of bail, which they wouldn't have to grant anyway because you are not under the protections of the Constitution until you have successfully passed customs and gained full entry into this country; those seeking asylum are still at the border.

A solid majority of people do show up for their hearings. The percentage is higher if monitoring is used and they are provided with legal representation.
BTW, I singlehandedly conquered western Wisconsin today using only my kayak paddle in the civil war. I’ll be on Alex Jones show tomorrow bragging about my victory and selling my brand new male virility pills. Use the promo code FLAGGYISAMORON for 10% off.

He sounds like Tommy Boy: Hello there pretty little pet, I love you. And then I stoke it, and I pet it, and I massage it. Hehe I love it, I love my little naughty pet.

Ummm, during the time Obama was "just letting them go anywhere", only about 3% didn't come back for their hearing.

So, once again, educate yourself. Don't just keep repeating what Alex and Trump say to you.

And again, your post, no matter how stupid, doesn't address the fact they aren't even being let in at the ports of entry", nor that they're being forced to sign paperwork agreeing to be deported.

Another proud day in Trump's Amerikkka.

https://www.oregonlive.com/clackamascounty/index.ssf/2018/07/black_oregon_state_rep_says_he.html

A black Oregon state representative says one of her constituents called police on her Tuesday while she was canvassing alone in a neighborhood she represents.
Rep. Janelle Bynum, a Democrat who is running for a second term this fall in the state House of Representatives, said she was knocking on doors and talking to residents for two hours along Southeast 125th Avenue in Clackamas. She was taking notes on her cellphone from the conversation she'd had with someone at the second to last of about 30 homes on her list around 5:10 p.m. when a Clackamas County deputy pulled up to her.

Not only that. They're not honoring asylum claims. What I heard the past 48 hours about what this administration is doing makes me sick.

You don't get it.

He and others never will. The meatpacking and restaurant industries in the US would be brought to their knees without them. And in meatpacking, they get treated like total sh*t, which is horrid and should stop. But if you want ground beef to not cost $8/lb, what are you gonna do?

Farming would be brought down too.

As for this **** that immigrants are lazy, I work with a bunch of immigrants at Tyson. Hardest working bunch of people I've ever met; some of them have been there for YEARS. I don't see a bunch of white Americans lining up to work there...

I don’t even bother trying to argue with them anymore.

In other news the triggered snow flakes have won- Walmart pulled the anti trump merchandise but still selling MAGA gear.
At least this keeps the trash out of Target. I think 100% of trump people shop at Walmart’s

Re: POTUS: 45.37: The Earth is Flat and the Babies Are Crying

1. Immigrants are not lazy. I never believed that myth.
2. Costs will rise. Fine with that.
3. Go after the companies that hire illegals. Also fine with that.
4. Overall message to everyone: don't break the law.

OK, then. Hope you plan to rarely vacation, and eat a lot more plants. After all, the latter is what we're supposed to do anyway, right?

If you're hoping for a massive COLA adjustment to your salary as a result of those policies, good luck with that.

I rarely vacation anyways. The yearly Houghton trip is about it.
And I agree, if one thinks the (mostly) old white male CEOs will take a pay cut at this point, I have a bridge in North Dakota I'd like to sell you.

However, maybe someday, somehow, a miracle will happen (more likely a revolution) and things will change.
