All other morals or acts of conscience are fungible, depending upon which party is doing them. If Democrats were locking kids in cages, we'd be on our fourth investigative committee by now.

I seem to recall seeing a PBC or BBC thing on a "space force" that already exists--not as a program to weaponize space but to develop and protect our space communications system, which is critical for military purposes. It's not a new idea (even forgetting Reagan), but Trump will be drawn to things that sparkle and go boom, like any 7-year-old.

Perhaps he can offer Kim partnership in this enterprise in exchange for the right to build hotels in NK. No, in exchange for consideration for the right to build hotels in NK.

OK, so I actually support this.

It's Dump so obviously his vision of it will be inane. But I support pretty much anything that directs some of our ludicrous military expenditures to something useful like space technology.

If Dumpy wants to put Space Marines on Mars, then fine. It gets human beings to Mars.

We have that. It's NASA. This is Dump wanting his stupid ****ing face on a statue outside of a military academy.

It's like saying the Skunkworks tech is going to trickle down to civilian aerospace tech. It might, but only 10 years after it's declassified. Which might take a decade or two itself.

Nah, the Chinese will steal it while it's still in /dev, then Musk will buy it on the Bond Villain Black Market.

NASA's approps aren't worth spit. We need to get into the real money -- bang, bang, boom, boom, gorilla boner money.
