it's not that, it just that Trumpy's never had his criminal empire open to such examination before.

There is no question that's true. But the subject of the TPM link you provided is that the exposure of all the deals, coupled with how the money got from Trump to the payees (through Cohen invoices to Trump) is the key. The unnamed "source" in the TPM story seems to suggest that with Guiliani spilling the beans on this method of money transfer the feds will be able to nail Trump. If that's the case, these feds ain't that good at their job.

Edit: The TPM post literally refers to the "MO" exposed by Giuliani in it's title. If the MO had the feds flummoxed, I think we're all in trouble.

I'm reading all these asinine comments from the Trumpsters saying how the fact that Trump slept with a prostitute and paid her off is no big deal because it happened before he was president. Not fully grasping how the pay off happened when he was a candidate - that's when it happened, correct? All I keep thinking about is how Gary Hart would've probably been president if people felt the same way.

Assuming that were the case, that doesn't mean he used campaign finance money. Everyone has taken Giuliani's words out of context in order to fit their narrative.

NBC News corrected the story. It wasn't a wiretap. It was a pen register. If I understand correctly, that would basically mean they have his call log, but not recordings of his conversations.

This morning, during the National Day of Prayer, Trump moved closer to "religious liberty."

Does that mean if I worked at Arby's, I could deny sale of a value meal because gluttony is a sin?

I don't watch MSBNC so I don't know one of these talking heads from another, but amazingly, one just said that if trump's legal troubles lead those in position to do so to attempt to remove him from office, it will mean civil war. Of course we know that the American people are not going to elect a senate that will vote to remove him and we know that there is not a single republican member of the U.S. House or Senate that will put the country ahead of their party, so we really don't have to worry about civil war. At least not stemming from an impeachment of trump.

Oh, and the unemployment report just came out. Lowest level since Clinton was still president. Thank God we have a man of the people in the White House putting Americans back to work.
