Re: POTUS 45.30: "Stormy Weather...It Keeps on Rainin' all the Time..."

Even if you worship the guy, its really tough to make excuse for having unprotected sex with a sex worker while your 3rd wife is home with your infant son. They're not even trying to deny that this happened either.

He survived "grab em by the p-ssy" and that was a direct videotape. The Thumpers' powers of self-delusion are truly astounding. But I think they really only have the Slick Willie comeback, and it's hollow. They would have been better served to just Climate Denial all the way. As Cheney showed us, the Big Lie is a profound thought-stopper with these folks. Don't let the doubt seep in at all or you'll get water damage.

I really do not know what joe and Sic and Drew and Fish are going to do if and when Dumpy fires Mueller and then the whole Ferris Wheel of Death starts turning. I guess it will be like Nixon: "everybody does it he just got caught." The only alternative is to admit they not only got played, but they willingly wanted to be played -- they begged for it; they traded this nation's and their children's future for it. It's Reagan Redux, only this time with hookers.

Re: POTUS 45.30: "Stormy Weather...It Keeps on Rainin' all the Time..."

He's #1 with Evangelicals. The most powerful Religious voting block in the United States. They love him. Why? Because he's had the most "conservative" administration EVER. He's delivered. Tax Cuts. Destruction of the ACA. Anti-Brown Immigration Policy. Gorsuch. Gorsuch was massive for them. They'll vote just for that.

Agreed, but my point is that has nothing to do with God. Evangelicals have put God in the back seat in the pursuit of political power as they have been doing for a long, long time. Its just never been as nakedly brazen as it is now.

That's all the Evangelical movement ever was. The godly pray in private like Jesus told them to. If you pray in public you're putting on an act.

It's what you said. He just got caught. They all do it. And he got things done for us. No one else really has. That's enough. He'll be revered by the 33% for the next 100 years.

Good. I want Dump as the face of the GOP for the next 1000 years. For every 1 orc who bows and scrapes there will be 3 humans who despise him.

That was different though because it was just words. Stormy Daniels wasn't. Its been said of Chump, who lets be honest here has his finger on the pulse of Knuckledragger Nation like nobody else including even Reagan, is most worried about the timing of the allegations. That if its shown he was banging Stormy while his wife was home with his newborn son Chump feels that a good portion of his base won't be able to rationalize that away. Anecdotally from what I've been seeing he's right. Hence the desperation to keep her quiet.

Think of it as the Roy Moore Law. At some point certain behaviors reach a point where a meaningful portion of the wingnut base says "I quit". Happened with Todd Akin as well. Russian collusion is a bit too complicated for most right wing simpletons to follow, or they'll just chalk it up to rouge aids. Ask a Chump supporter point blank (as I have) if they're okay with someone screwing a sex worker while their wife is home with a newborn and watch them squirm. They can't even bring themselves to come up with a half-hearted excuse.

I'd like to believe that but I don't. The Evangelical interviews I've seen on Cable News show no wavering at all on Trump. He get things done for them. It's about the ends not the means. Always has been.

Their new line is about how it isn't about the man it is about the policies. They can't defend it anymore so they just admit he is awful but they don't care.

"The Lord picks mysterious vessels for His will."

There's always an excuse. The Thumpers' adherence to the GOP is unfalsifiable, as is all brainwashing.

My boss is a sincere fundamentalist Christian as in Young Earth Creationist. The real thing. He's a nice guy, too -- he's just ignorant as sh-t. He said he'll vote for Dump again for more SCOTUS picks. I'm sure there's stuff in the Bible about how that's not the right thing to do besides the obvious like Matthew 16:26, and I wish I had enough of a grasp to swap verses with him just to maybe get him thinking.

He's a good guy. He's just been eating the junk food of religion and hate radio all his life, so his body and mind are malnourished.

I'm not talking about people being paid to defend him. Give me a million bucks and I'll go on TV and say what a great guy Chump is. Hell, they could have me for half that. ;)

Well, Hell is out. :)
Let he who is without sin? Nope, sin is irrelevant these days.

How about 'dem Mets??

Exactly. It's about the ends, not the means. The end justifies the means. Like he said, he could murder someone and it wouldn't matter to any of these people.

Agreed, but my point is that has nothing to do with God. Evangelicals have put God in the back seat in the pursuit of political power as they have been doing for a long, long time. Its just never been as nakedly brazen as it is now.

They use God as an excuse for them to hate. They follow political power so that they can follow the hate. They even distort our founding fathers actual view on religion so that they can hate.

Somehow, that hate makes them feel better about themselves.

Deny rights to the people they hate, and they are happy. Deny opportunities to people they hate, and they are happy. Deny ANY relief to people they hate, and they are happy. Putting people they hate back into horrible situations, and they are happy.

IMHO, if you are an "Evangelical" that's a rough excuse for you to hate.

I've not blocked joe or drew, but it's interesting to read their excuses to hate other groups. I'd feel sorry for how petty their lives must be to be so hateful, but I'm not. They are welcome to be as miserable as they want to be.

Re: POTUS 45.30: "Stormy Weather...It Keeps on Rainin' all the Time..."

Whoa there alfa boy!!!! I disagree with a stance, viewpoint, or the like. That is not hate.

I think marriage should be between a man and a woman. That doesn't mean I hate homosexuals.

I believe that life begins in the womb. I have a strong dislike for abortionists, but not the (ex)mother.

I believe that the policies of the current Democrat party are wrong. I don't hate the Democrats on this board. I feel sorry for those who throw a nutty when their opinions are challenged.

I don't love the GOP. I think the party is schizophrenic in that they say X when they're running for power and do a 180 when the achieve it. It tasks me.

I hate the Yankees, but I respected Mickey, Whitey, Yogi, Mo, and Jeter. Boggs and Clemens are nothing to me.

If Hill didn't walk, Mel won't either.

but that's the thing. you guys gave Hillary so much **** for "standing by her man".

and yet, here you are, utterly silent about Trumpy banging porn stars, while his wife was at home with his newborn son.

Ends justify the means.

Nice justification to deny rights that you are able to have. Why would you need to do that? Other than hate?

Wake up and really listen to what you are being told. It's not what I've read in the New Testament.

Exactly. "Well the jew lawyer just gave her the money just because and maybe he just didn't know it was all just a lie!".
