Trump literally blamed the shooting on high schoolers for not reporting the kid.

The article I posed in the other thread indicated he lived with a family who did not see this coming and he had a job who did not see this coming. The President is an idiot.

Course, I could see it coming in hindsight but I'm not a gun nut so I'm not sure how they would think in this situation.

Super Glad that Sessions is going after weed and pot.

It’s a common stereotype that people who smoke weed are a bit foggy-headed and missing a few brain cells.

But a study from researchers at the University of Colorado Boulder found that alcohol is much more damaging to your brain than marijuana. In fact, the study — which was published in the journal Addiction — suggests that weed use doesn’t seem to alter the structure of a person’s brain at all.

Far more important is the frequency and amount used in both cases. Also, what are the comparative benefits. Red wine is packed full of antioxidants, marijuana is not. If anything, partially combusted carbon compounds can easily form polyaromatics known to cause cancer.

So yeah, if you go out and chug a case of Schlitz this weekend, you’re probably worse off than someone who lights up once a week.

I blasted my cousin's wife over this on facebook. While we're all in Mass, she was loud about supporting Gary Johnson because of his running mate??? (Bill Weld, who was a good governor for us). Also she trotted out the tried and true "well, my vote here doesn't matter anyway". True, but as I explained to her, if you're out public claiming how you can't be corrupted by the two party system and you're going to make a stand, what's to stop the people in swing states from applying the same standards to themselves? Basically what she was saying is she valued her purity above all else, but the people in swing states all needed to put that aside and do the right thing. Absurd. This is how we got GWB and Trump.
